Very interested to hear your story with the paranormal as I too consider myself rational and disregard the paranormal for similar reasons as to why I don’t believe in a God, they both seem implausible. I also had a paranormal experience myself which convinced me of the existence of ghosts but I eventually grew out of it because, as with the existence of God, there is no real evidence to prove it’s existence. There’s compelling anecdotes and experiences that people have had for both but I can’t bring myself to believe in either of them due to rational thinking so as I said I’d be very interested to hear what convinced you of it.
Not trying to even make a religious argument but am curious how you would respond to this. Many cultures and individuals in our human history have approved of terrible things like murder, cannibalism, r*pe, slavery, and other atrocities. How can you judge a culture or individual for participating in these things when they believe what they are doing is moral? At that point it is up to the majority of the people in that culture to say if it is wrong or not. If the morality of humanity is just based on the evolution of humanity, feeling, experience, ect., there is no ultimate truth, it would just be based on morality. Just curious what your thoughts are... Great video. Thanks for uploading!
@@davidsimili1598 I think most cultures would agree that murder is wrong because murder = the end. If you murder someone, you are taking that person's existence away which irreversible. Though a murderer may think it is right in their mind, the majority wouldn't because we humans have a natural sense of right and wrong. Though some cultures may approve of those terrible things, as I said, most dont. And the cultures that may do these awful things may do so because they believe in it, but it still doesn't make it right. These bad cultures may also be formed by influence, pressure and/or brainwashing. Also, some people are just bad i think. It's as simple as that. Great question btw. And glad you enjoyed the video.
