Truck drivers are the unsung heroes of the country. They are away from families and friends and without them we would come to a stop. That old saying if you bought it and truck brought it. Stay safe out there. A lot of people in cars don’t give truck the respect or space they deserve.
For sure, I’m in Chicago and don’t envy the truckers that have to deal with the tight spaces, crazy drivers and traffic. Not to mention they spend all that time driving completely alone, I’m not sure I’d be able to do that. Nothing but respect.

You don't have to like a truck driver if they were indeed being rude to you, but that doesn't mean you can't respect the job, its importance to the country, and its many challenges.

People don't realize how much we rely on long haul drivers for basic necessities like food, baby formula, pet food and medication(not to count the non essentials we are so used to having whenever we want). Cities would be out of food in less than a week and when the food is gone history tells us after 3 days after that all hell breaks loose. So yea thanks in advance! Haha.

Yakima is not a great area unfortunately. Beware the Flying J in Pasco as well. Luckily they built a Loves that is brand new. Lots of wineries and great wines in Washington. Cool to see you in the region I live. Safe travels!

You inspired me alot. I went to a lot of road trips in the state the longest was 20hrs driving alone. Then I realized I want to become a traveler, make money at the same time plus love driving. One of my friends recommended me to do a truck driver. I feel like it's hard to control on a pickup truck don't even say a semi. I'm an Asian female with 5'2" lol😅. Wish you the best!
