just finished watching the video and I think you finally understood what atinys mean when you get on board of their ship. They take you with them, is like magical. Ateez tell a story and you are like the witness to it. They are very smart, all groups have lore and all, but I never saw one that make you feel like them on it. Since the begin they made atinys participate in so much and of course I know is intentional, but is great to us too. They are more than the cute and sexy guys, is like somehow that friend you need when things are too hard, they have a song for you to confort or be angry together and question "why me?" and tell you is ok to feel that way but things will get better if you keeo going. Doesn't solve our problems but having them make us feel less lonely. The beauty of parasocial relationship lol but yeah, their album is a movie, if you just lay day and close you eyes and play all 3 albums, you gonna see that in your mind the whole thing, is like an awesome book that make you transport. Is not about who is better in anything, they do their thing and you follow lol The album is just another level, the sad part is most kpop fans never check their b sides and only complaim about their titles being noise, they never get to check how great they are and I'll stop talking cause this is huge and I am too sleepy. And like you said, they feel like a reliable friend. People who truly care. And who we truly care for! It's hard to get Ateez mv without understanding their lore first. Here's the best explanation I've read to date: Ateez are pirates who were gifted that hourglass (called a chromer) which allows them to travel through time and between dimensions. At first, they are searching for treasure and having adventures, but eventually they run into these bad guys who have chains where their faces should be. The bad guys are from Dimension Z, whereas Ateez is from Dimension A which is presumably where we are as well. But there is another version of Ateez from Dimension Z called the Black Pirates (aka Halateez) who are the enemies of the no-face guys. At first Ateez teams up with Halateez to fight against the no-face guys (they are the ones in the black hats in the MVs for Answer, Say My Name, and Hala Hala). Eventually something happens and Halateez disappear (I'm not totally clear on this part) and Ateez ends up in Dimension Z instead of Halateez. What they discover is that the no-face guys are in charge of the government and they have brainwashed everyone in Dimension Z to have no emotions so that they can be controlled. Ateez sets up a subversive movement to take down the corrupt government and restore emotion to the people. To do this they use propaganda in the Guerrilla music video and chili peppers in the Bouncy music video (because apparently people can feel the burn of the spicy chilies and that helps reconnect them to feeling). They also smuggle weapons in the chilis. In this current episode (Crazy Mode mv) they need to finish taking down the government and get the heck out of Dodge. But the chromer is broken. It broke at the end of the Deja Vu music video so how are they supposed to leave? Yunho and Wooyoung are working on the pirate ship in the lab. Meanwhile Jongho and Mingi break into the lounge where the high government officials do their business and start shooting things up. They other members are being rounded up by the government but they just have to wait till Jongho kills the leader and Wooyoung successfully projects the pirate ship in the sky. When the ship appears, the team appears thrilled and heads to the ship. If you notice that in the beginning scene there is a crescent moon and in the final scene a full moon. Ateez can only travel on the full moon. In the extra scene at the end you see the full moon, but the pirate ship and presumably Ateez as well are gone even though they left the broken chromer in Dimension Z. In the song Halazia, Yeosang has a line, "little blue bird that list it's voice." I think they are using this as a metaphor for the people that lost their emotions (if you examine the other lyrics of Halazia). At the end of Crazy Form, you can clearly hear the bluebird singing as it takes to the sky. I assume this means that the bluebird found its voice and the people found their lost emotions. But without the chromer to help them travel will they be able to get back to Dimension A or will their new ship take them somewhere unexpected?
I still wonder till these days how possible that they never missed. Even though some songs might not hooked me from the first listen, but it's always growing on me and then i addicted to it. ATEEZ literally can make me laugh, crying or even going wild with their songs 😂 their music just perfect fit for my taste, that's why I love them so so much ♥️ PS. Here are my unsolicited thoughts/conspiracy theories about the album: 1) Their 2023 MAMA live stage of Bouncy+Crazy Form featured an intro that pulled directly from Inception (both their song and the movie). 2) The Crescent moon apparently is known as the warning moon 3) Crescent part 1 is featured on their album Treasure Ep.3 One to All, right between Illusion and Wave. So my theory is that in both instances it serves as a suggestion that we are moving from World Z (AKA Strickland) to World A. 4)During their Break the Wall Tour they actually played the final song from this album during a scene where the members approach a painting of a scene from their Wonderland MV which is from their album Treasure Ep.Fin: All to Action. So if we understand ATEEZ lore timeline the Fever Series is a prequel to the Treasure Series, while its ye to be confirmed where The World Series occurs, but I almost want to say its concurrent to the Treasure series, but we've been with the black pirates (AKA HALATEEZ) this time and now both ATEEZ and HALATEEZ are at Answer. I am very curious to see if we get an epilogue album sometime next year, since each era has had one.

Love the album. I was right about Crazy Form, Matz, and IT's You - those were the ones that I was anticipating, but I came to really love Silver Light, Youth, and Everything. Honestly, I really want them to do an all R&B album. They have the vocals for it plus Eden and Maddox are R&B artists. It would be amazing!! EDIT: Welcome to CryTinyville. It's a common occurance here for many Atiny and it's a reason why many of us become Atiny. They provide the hard-hitting songs, but also songs of sadness, loss, but with the hope that everything will be okay. Those messages resonate with many of us no matter how old we are. Even if someone can't tell you personally that things will be okay, Ateez wants everyone to know that times can be hard, but there is hope for it to be better. Keep it up, keep going, don't look back, go over that wave or sail to that horizon.
Oooo and R&B album would be so good!!! Honestly I feel like they’ve made me cry so often!!! They really hit you right in the heart… I just love these guys 🥺 They have such a way of putting different experience into words. Like you said, they resonate with everyone. THIS! I just discovered them a couple weeks before their comeback in June. Halazia was my introduction to them and I was blown away. Then I watched a live version of Inception and Answer and it made me SO emotional and Brought me to tears. I was like…”why Am I crying??” And it was then that I realized I had become an ATiny. 🩵

With each comeback their albums get even more cohesive. This one was such a rollercoaster of emotions, I love every single song individually as well as how it plays into the musical storytelling. It's beautiful how they can maintain such progression while having different genres & subunit songs too. The last 3 never fail to make me cry: Youth followed by Everything and wrapping up with Fin: Will was a genius idea. Those songs back to back just hit different & really brings out emotions I didn't even know I was feeling. It's melancholic & hopeful at the same time. Gosh this album was an incredible journey.
i loved we know, arriba and crazy from is so good i am obsessed matz we all knew it will be so good but it is even turned out to be insane hongjoong is just so crazy talented in every thing he does and seonghwa fits this song so much and they said matz will be right back so i think there will be more of them and i am so happy about it
I've learned that it can take me up to two weeks to decide if I like a new album or not, largely because I have to learn how to separate out how others feel and what I actually feel and with this one every time I think I have a handle on it, I get a new take and understand it differently and I've been loving that. Story telling has always been a central part to their album/series structure, but every series it feels like they've upped it more and The World series in particular has focused a lot on album and series cohesiveness. Outside of extensive lore (and I haven't read the Diary entry for this one yet, still waiting on my album), my basic understanding is that this one sits in the general premise of emotions have been turned on again and it's up to everyone to decide what they want to do with that, but at the end of the day the complexity of all feelings is a really beautiful thing. Fin: Will made me cry as well and really made me think differently about particularly the back half of this album. All their unit songs are very different and touch on very specific different emotions, which didn't really hit me to the final song. For me, I feel like I connect to ATEEZ's music in part because I find it incredibly validating, like through the highs and the lows I'm not weird and I'm not alone in feeling whatever that feeling is. To have a swaggy/angry dis tack, a sexy feeling yourself track, a track about navigating sadness and depression, and a track about wanting to express the full breadth of your love, and to follow that with a song that basically says "hey it's all good, all of these things you feel are important and part of the beautiful central experience of being alive" while sonically capturing the feeling of being broken open and watching the world come alive...it just gets me every time.
I think that's understandable! Between the music itself and the storylines, there is a lot to process. Ateez's storytelling is so fascinating. The way they are able to weave it through their albums. I can feel that as well, The World being extremely rich in story and the way it's structured. It has felt very intentional. I can definitely see the idea of emotions returning and the ramifications of that. How each song feels like it's presenting a different emotion. It really is so beautifully done. And each song has such a unique tone. That's exactly what I think gives us such a connection to Ateez and their music, that feeling of not being alone. I think that's one of the most special things about them. You've said everything so beautifully! And I couldn't agree more.

This album.... Just wow. So far each World album has been my new favorite. No skips. Even the songs I wasn't sure about when I first listened, I now love. We Know, Emergency, Crazy Form, and Arriba: Pure dance party vibes! I love the darkness yet hopeful feeling of Silver Light. Totally my style. Dreamy Day feels like a return of their comfort songs for Atiny. The whiplash of the warm hug of Dreamy Day and the punch in the face of MATZ is something else. When I saw that Hwa and HJ were doing a song together, I was expecting something like Thank U. Not a hard core rap diss track! And I love it so much! I love hearing Hwa rap in his lower register. The vocals on IT's You are like velvet. Leave it to Ateez' resident flirts, Wooyoung and San, to write their one and only song explicitly about sex. Not sure how they roped Yeo into it. LOL Mingi's singing voice is so under used. I've loved it from the beginning. And what do I say about Jongho's Everything... I don't think there is anything I can say. Perfection.

So if we understand ATEEZ lore timeline the Fever Series is a prequel to the Treasure Series, while its ye to be confirmed where The World Series occurs, but I almost want to say its concurrent to the Treasure series, but we've been with the black pirates (AKA HALATEEZ) this time and now both ATEEZ and HALATEEZ are at Answer.
I am very curious to see if we get an epilogue album sometime next year, since each era has had one.

Love the album. I was right about Crazy Form, Matz, and IT's You - those were the ones that I was anticipating, but I came to really love Silver Light, Youth, and Everything. Honestly, I really want them to do an all R&B album. They have the vocals for it plus Eden and Maddox are R&B artists. It would be amazing!! EDIT: Welcome to CryTinyville. It's a common occurance here for many Atiny and it's a reason why many of us become Atiny. They provide the hard-hitting songs, but also songs of sadness, loss, but with the hope that everything will be okay. Those messages resonate with many of us no matter how old we are. Even if someone can't tell you personally that things will be okay, Ateez wants everyone to know that times can be hard, but there is hope for it to be better. Keep it up, keep going, don't look back, go over that wave or sail to that horizon.

THIS! I just discovered them a couple weeks before their comeback in June. Halazia was my introduction to them and I was blown away. Then I watched a live version of Inception and Answer and it made me SO emotional and Brought me to tears. I was like…”why Am I crying??” And it was then that I realized I had become an ATiny. 🩵
Hongjoong wrote dreamy day for fans. Crescent part 1 also had the sound of the ocean which makes it more nostalgic. Crescent it’s actually my alarm. lol cause of San saying open your eyes.

why i feel like "everything" is his song for himself? like he missed it (young him had a lot of worries and was not that confident the way he is now) he wants to talk to his past self and said that no matter what happens, he will not lose it... he will never forget and that himself is his everything (it sounds vain but... god- crying over this song) it's just my opinion, maybe for others it was a love, ballad song but... gummy bear why are you like this 😭😭 iloveyousomuch 🧡

With each comeback their albums get even more cohesive. This one was such a rollercoaster of emotions, I love every single song individually as well as how it plays into the musical storytelling. It's beautiful how they can maintain such progression while having different genres & subunit songs too. The last 3 never fail to make me cry: Youth followed by Everything and wrapping up with Fin: Will was a genius idea. Those songs back to back just hit different & really brings out emotions I didn't even know I was feeling. It's melancholic & hopeful at the same time. Gosh this album was an incredible journey.

I've learned that it can take me up to two weeks to decide if I like a new album or not, largely because I have to learn how to separate out how others feel and what I actually feel and with this one every time I think I have a handle on it, I get a new take and understand it differently and I've been loving that. Story telling has always been a central part to their album/series structure, but every series it feels like they've upped it more and The World series in particular has focused a lot on album and series cohesiveness. Outside of extensive lore (and I haven't read the Diary entry for this one yet, still waiting on my album), my basic understanding is that this one sits in the general premise of emotions have been turned on again and it's up to everyone to decide what they want to do with that, but at the end of the day the complexity of all feelings is a really beautiful thing. Fin: Will made me cry as well and really made me think differently about particularly the back half of this album. All their unit songs are very different and touch on very specific different emotions, which didn't really hit me to the final song. For me, I feel like I connect to ATEEZ's music in part because I find it incredibly validating, like through the highs and the lows I'm not weird and I'm not alone in feeling whatever that feeling is. To have a swaggy/angry dis tack, a sexy feeling yourself track, a track about navigating sadness and depression, and a track about wanting to express the full breadth of your love, and to follow that with a song that basically says "hey it's all good, all of these things you feel are important and part of the beautiful central experience of being alive" while sonically capturing the feeling of being broken open and watching the world come alive...it just gets me every time.
I think that's understandable! Between the music itself and the storylines, there is a lot to process.
Ateez's storytelling is so fascinating. The way they are able to weave it through their albums. I can feel that as well, The World being extremely rich in story and the way it's structured. It has felt very intentional.
I can definitely see the idea of emotions returning and the ramifications of that. How each song feels like it's presenting a different emotion. It really is so beautifully done. And each song has such a unique tone.
That's exactly what I think gives us such a connection to Ateez and their music, that feeling of not being alone. I think that's one of the most special things about them.
