I ws watching dis program from Mumbai. So real. Reality of life. Der ws a sister who said der r youngster who help. In Mumbai,in a Jesuit parish, We hav a gud samaritans grp. Dey help d elderly the way our sister mentioned. I too had a fear of dying alone but now I just surrender myself to d will of God. He knows what's rite fr us. Thank u very much fr d whole team of Aging gracefully.
Am a senior citizen aged 73 (single state). FYI ever since I attended several retreats & hv become quite passionate in reading scripture I have learnt to accept death & welcome it with the hope of going back to my home in a sanctified state by correcting myself in every way. A wonderful program indeed. Hats off to the organisers

I daily pray for a good death.
I ask God to help me prepare for death. I myself try to keep myself from hurting or offending or judging others and want to do things what God wants me to do and here is the question what am I to do. I'm 82 still active in the parish in whatever capacity.Ive been more in the past.

It interesting to listen to the dialogues and the concerns shared by the elderly. It helps us youngsters to also understand our elderly better and help them as they transition to this phase. Thank you RMC for hosting this interesting series.
This program has set me thinking, real thinking.
God bless you Fr. Jovi and Dr. John. The topic shared by our seniors were eye opening. One brother said his life changed and he started reading the Holy Scriptures that is essential when we are aging or alone. The word of God makes us feel close to God. James 4:8 quotes ' Draw neater to God and He will draw near to you" so we are not alone.

I enjoyed every moment of the show. It brought out so many aspects of our life as we grow old. It made me realise how precious I am in the sight of God and in the sight of my children and grandchildren.

A great programme
I had wonderful parents. They gave my brothers and sisters and me, the best they could give, though they struggled to do that. I had a wonderful job, with a big pay package millions of people would dream to have. I had the job for a long time, but not once did I give a thought to my parents who were struggling to keep us happy. They left this world struggling. I would like to say to children, to please be aware of your parents, take a break from your personal life as often as possible, and involve your activities with your parents, especially in their old age. I did not say sorry to my parents, because by the time I realized my mistakes they had already left this world. All that I earned all my life, does not make me a happy person or have a happy life. Please take care of your parents at all times. (A.M)
