Once I was scrolling threw instagram and i said I will be watching one more reel and I would listen to music bcs I was literally addicted to it and I wouldn't be able to sleep without listening to it but then that one reel was a verse from the Quran about music I was really surprised and I kept scrolling and all the video's were about music being haram and then I saw a video of an Imam talking about how those videos you see on social media can also be signs from Allah that literally made me cry and I promised to not listen to music again and it has been months and I havent listened to music and I am trying to be better may allah help and forgive everone.
Sister allah has indeed blessed you .i myself am trying to avoid music but i m not able to do it nevertheless I accidentally hear it please pray that Allah guides me and blesses all of us ameen..

Sister its easy to leave music I was also addicted to it and even wanted to learn piano but I do not know how Allah Almighty guided me and now I can barely stand any music on except old one that my father or mother used to listen to it,They are classic and good but still can't continue halfway through because I hate music now,I gave up my dreams on learning how to play music for the sake of Allah Almighty and I will never regret it,It was the right decision because music won't do any good to me It's been 6 years since I left it

It happens with me all the time.I always get signs in Instagram and yt shorts😭. As an example,When my bath is mandatory to perform salah, but i don't do it out of laziness. Suddenly i find verses about being purified. I cant control my tears. Indeed islam is perfect
