What a coincidence. I live in Burlington KY. Great video. I put mine outside in direct sun in a non draining pot. It’s not doing so well. I hope I can bring it back to life.
How do you revive a dragon tree after a cold moldy winter when the cane has gone soggy and one cane has no leaves - the other cane is healthy and has leaves.
I have a dragon tree that I have sitting on my 10 gallon aquarium and there is about 3 inches of dry space with peat moss in the pot holding the tree. What should I do different?
Hey i get this is an old video but hoping you could answer some questions for me....i got one and its like 5ft tall.. i wish i could post a pic in the comments but I'm wondering if a should top it or just let it keep growing?
Blue furry or white furry? If it is the white furry one was it one stem or multiple stems? I have 68 cacti at last count. 🌵And before you ask, no I do NOT have a problem! lol. 🌲
@@TheGreenAlchemist so when I pause this video at 15 seconds, I do see you have a few in the same pot. The tallest one? And I know what its like, I'm trying to figure out a way to NOT spend the rest of my lifes wages on plants. They are like low maintenance pets! They are wonderful! And I just watched a bunch of your videos 😅
I need to repot my dracaena plant as the roots are protruding out from the bottom of the pot (quite a bit actually). Will it kill the plant of I cut the protruding roots off so that I can get it out of the pot?
Indirect light is when a plant needs a light source, but they don't want the sun to make contact with the plant. So, like a windowsill will get direct sunlight, but a countertop away from the window will get indirect light.
Hi. I have this type of Dracaena growing in my outdoor garden. It's two years old and the base is now becoming a thick stalk. I want to take it back to its first year look. Can I do that by cutting the stalk at the surface? Thanks
Very informative. How cold of a room can it tolerate? I'm thinking of moving mine downstairs due to it getting too much sun. It will get plenty of indirect light, just a cooler room.
I only water all my houseplants with water from rain butts. Occasionally I feed them with water from boiled potatoes, veg or pasta. Over a year since doing this everything is 100% healthier. I have a two week watering schedule.

Great video as always. Don’t know where you are… but I hope you’re well. Thank you for your detailed video.
Worked for a indoor plant company. They never seemed to realize using water from a janitors closet may cause yellow leafs….
LOL

I just got my very first Dracaena marginata and I find your video really helpful. Thank you so much!

Can I cut off bottom leaves as the leaves are all the way to base?
Is it poisonous to birds only if they bite or eat them? I mean if they land on one real quick will it hurt them?

You can cut some roots when repotting. When I repotted my two Dragon plants, both twice, I cut almost half to stimulate to grow deep in the new soil.
What kind of tree is that cuz I have three on the same pot there big already
please I need someone to tell me which fertilizer should I use for dragon tree ??
Cactus and succulent soil

What exactly is indirect sunlight?

My plant is drooping, what could be the problem???
Needs more light or water.
@@Diabolus1978too much of either can cause that.
I have 4, 12' high of these and have been in direct sunlight for years in the Philippines.
Mine is 5' tall and bent over but self-supporting. The leaves are very healthy since I took on caring for it from my elderly parents.

Mine only has one stalk and the leave go all the way to the bottom. Should I trim the leaves off?
