Being the only teacher in all these courses, I'm the only one hosting zoom meetings (so no interfering meetings at the same time), but I cannot have a ton of different zoom accounts... Is there a way to work around this?
You can enter your single Zoom account credentials into each group. It will work. You can use the same Zoom app for all of them. But just be careful not to schedule two meetings at the same time.
I just noticed something else. I created a meeting scheduled for 6 am Vancouver time. I then used my VPN to simulate being in the Philippines, assuming the time and countdown would adjust accordingly. It remained still on Vancouver time and the countdown clock remained the same as well.
This is working great, but I have a question. I can only add one zoom meeting per page? I was hoping to schedule at least two (different) zoom events on one page, but I get the error saying "this block can only be used once"? Also, any plans to incorporate with the Divi builder rather than having to use the Gutenberg editor?
We were getting some errors with people duplicating blocks and then it would schedule two of the same meeting in Zoom, this is why it is restricting to one block per page. I think we can update it to allow multiple blocks while preventing duplicates. For Divi, we are currently working on support for it. It works right now in a basic way but we are adding more advanced support. We also have full support for Elementor and Beaver Builder page builders right now.
Hi I am pretty new, but the gutenberg block i cannot find when i create a new page. I do not get what you get no plus button. I do not know what a gutenberg block is can someone please explain
@Rachid Nabti The actual meeting is not embedded on the website or on the group page. The members can find the meeting details on the group and will have to participate via the Zoom app.
Based on how Zoom API works, it could only work for meetings without passwords and even then, it would open in a new tab, which Zoom does. And know that their native web view is better than their embedded one. Anyways, thanks for the feedback! We will look into this. :)
Hi Rea, Unfortunately, the Zoom integration is not available until we release the fix for this but our Product Team is already working on it. However, we don't have any estimated time for the release. Once its available, we will definitely publish it on our Release Notes.
Hey, this is not a known issue on the product so probably something specific in your website, please submit a support a ticket so that we can help you there.
Please note that anyone allowed to create a meeting in the group can use the default zoom account details when hosting the meeting. With this, there is a possibility of people creating meetings all the time which may cause conflict. We are avoiding this to happen that is why we do not recommend using your own zoom for all the group meetings on your site. Also as mentioned, Zoom imposed that one single zoom account cannot have two meetings running at the same time.
hey guys, just noticed that we can't schedule recurent zoom calls, and if we change it at zoom and synchronise, it just show the first meeting. thank's to consider fixing that. :)
We were testing zoom from the browser, and it was not working from safari, only chrome. Is that right? How will the it work from the app when it will come out? will zoom open in the app itself of will it need zoom installed?
In regards to the Zoom that is not working in Safari, kindly submit a support ticket at buddyboss.com so we can check this issue further. Please be advised that Zoom is not yet supported in the BuddyBoss App but we are currently aiming supporting Zoom Feature in the App. www.buddyboss.com/roadmap/
Is there a way to allow users to click "I'm joining" to a Zoom meeting so the organizers of the site/meeting will know in advance how many people will join each meeting? This is needed in our case because we will have facilitators for breakout rooms and need to know how many facilitators we will need so cannot have say 5 people facilitators and all of a sudden 1000 people joining a zoom meeting and we not having enough facilitators :) Thanks!
It's all great but.... when usrs are joining meeting all meeting details are displayed to them in a left top corner by clicking a green shield.... It's pointless to have that zoom feature where you can join only by your cusotm domain URL since any one who joins the meeting will be able to get direct meeting link as well as meetining number and PIN - your integration with zoom has security leak in that case. We posted that issue on your Facebook forum but it was deleted - will that comment be deleted as well?
Hey @ bolder_universe Please know that the actual meeting is not embedded on the website or on the group page. You and your participants will have to open the zoom app to join the meeting. This green shield / security issue you have is already within Zoom. We suggest reaching to Zoom they are the most suitable to assist you with this.
For the block, you would need to use Gutenberg. But we also have a shortcode which is shown in the video, you can use this shortcode to embed an existing Zoom meeting ID within Elementor in the Elementor shortcode widget.
At the moment, our integration with Zoom is for you to schedule and view meetings and recordings, in Gutenberg blocks and in social groups. If you are using LearnDash you can connect LearnDash Groups with Social Groups. This way, you can also have Zoom meetings with each group with associated courses. You can check how to connect LearnDash Groups with Social Groups here: th-cam.com/video/FRkNgllikcE/w-d-xo.html
You can also embed Zoom links into LearnDash lessons using our Zoom Gutenberg block. It is supported within LearnDash content and anywhere in WordPress that uses Gutenberg.
We cannot provide an exact date as to when it will be integrated. Once added, we will make sure to keep you informed and have this information available on our resources/docs website. Thank you!
Our Zoom integration does not have an option to generate a shortcode so if you are using a third-party plugin for Zoom to get a shortcode, you may need to contact Elementor Support to check if that would work on their plugin. Please send us a support ticket from your BuddyBoss account with the full details of this issue so we can further assist you and check your site. Thank you!
Thank you for clarifying. We tested it and it's working on Elementor. It may be showing as blank when you are editing (backend) tinyurl.com/y7ag229a but after publishing(frontend), it's working as expected. tinyurl.com/yba8gamb

In regards to the Zoom that is not working in Safari, kindly submit a support ticket at buddyboss.com so we can check this issue further. Please be advised that Zoom is not yet supported in the BuddyBoss App but we are currently aiming supporting Zoom Feature in the App.

Is there a way to notify members of a group through email when a zoom meeting was created or will be starting in an hour?
No available option yet out of the box, this is a great idea though and we will surely consider it.
@@BuddybossWP Thanks for the response! Looking forward to it :)
You're welcome! :)
Is this supported already or if not, is it planned? Thanks!
At the moment, this is not yet available out of the box but we will consider working on this. Thanks!
@@BuddybossWP thanks!
@Levy Carneiro You're welcome :)
Nice video.
How to use Google meet instead of Zoom ?
Google Meet is not yet tested with our theme and platform. Currently, we only have Zoom integration.
you need to pay zoom licence in order to work, it wont work with the free version right?
It will work with the free version, but with limited features (no cloud recordings, and no alternate hosts).
Hey @
bolder_universe Please know that the actual meeting is not embedded on the website or on the group page. You and your participants will have to open the zoom app to join the meeting. This green shield / security issue you have is already within Zoom. We suggest reaching to Zoom they are the most suitable to assist you with this.
Are webinars supported now?
Hello, yes! Please refer here: th-cam.com/video/eGpRxPk-DcU/w-d-xo.html
I use elementor - do i need to use Gutenberg for this to work?
For the block, you would need to use Gutenberg. But we also have a shortcode which is shown in the video, you can use this shortcode to embed an existing Zoom meeting ID within Elementor in the Elementor shortcode widget.
this can be included into a learndash lesson?
BuddyBoss thank you guys
What is ETA for supporting Zoom Webinars?
We cannot provide an exact date as to when it will be integrated. Once added, we will make sure to keep you informed and have this information available on our resources/docs website. Thank you!
This is awesome.
Thank you!!
Hi is the shortcode can work in Elementor then ??
Our Zoom integration does not have an option to generate a shortcode so if you are using a third-party plugin for Zoom to get a shortcode, you may need to contact Elementor Support to check if that would work on their plugin.
Please send us a support ticket from your BuddyBoss account with the full details of this issue so we can further assist you and check your site. Thank you!
I saw on the video that you generate a short code that why i ask !!!
[zoom_meeting]
Thank you for clarifying. We tested it and it's working on Elementor. It may be showing as blank when you are editing (backend) tinyurl.com/y7ag229a but after publishing(frontend), it's working as expected. tinyurl.com/yba8gamb
@@BuddybossWP Thanks that's a good news ;-) I Wass ac-xepting this since I use it with other plugin as well
You're welcome! Glad we are able to check this for you :)
Can we expect Zoom as a Elementor block? Anyway, good job!
We will consider this! Thanks for your suggestion.
@@BuddybossWP Please do! A Lot of us use elementor to build!
Can we watch the zoom meeting live?
Yes, you can join and watch live Zoom Meetings.
@@BuddybossWP Do I watch these live meetings via the buddy boss app or within the zoom link. My question is it a live stream of the meeting within the community?
The live meeting will operate in the Zoom itself, please note that in the Web or app, at this time, Zoom cannot be embedded in a community site, their API is very limited for that and is not much friendly or enabling developers to improve or tweak their layout but surely, we will still consider this.
Please add ADOBE CONNECT support!
Thanks for the suggestion
please add blog in group!
Should you want your members to be able to write a blog post from the frontend, you may install BuddyPress User Blog Plugin. www.buddyboss.com/integrations/buddypress-user-blog/
🤴🏽🤴🏽🤴🏽 BB my administration is so happy
Great! That's wonderful to hear.
Be caution when install Zoom.. your personal information are at risk.
Thank you for the heads up.
You should do your own video life like Facebook not taking the zoom
We appreciate your feedback and suggestion, we will surely consider working on this.
I created a meeting scheduled for 6 am Vancouver time. I then used my VPN to simulate being in the Philippines, assuming the time and countdown would adjust accordingly. It remained still on Vancouver time and the countdown clock remained the same as well.
