- Welcome to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Roulette! In this series @MBTYuGiOh and I spin a wheel featuring every Secret Pack in Master Duel. We then build decks using 20 of only those Secret Packs before playing a Match to determine that episode’s winner. The winner of each episode gets to decide if they want the first or second Secret Pack from the wheel during the next episode, but they must choose before seeing what the second spin lands on! You know what's more crazy than summon 3 Shenshen turn 1? Removing all of them using Noble Knights turn 2, that turn was insane both sides
Why? Noble knights are pretty good at removal, is the deck's specialty

And it wasnt even the Infernobles that made a difference, they barely factored into the win. It was the OG Knights baybee

Noble Knights are actually strong at breaking boards when the normal summons aren't stopped
Maybe I'm just high on cold medicine but I just find it so funny that in the middle of the episode Doug is just like "check out the Sword in the Stone its got a cool wizard battle!"

The timing of that trap was just PERFECT.
It would be really cool for like the very finale if MBT and Doug decided to use all the cards that they have pulled for the entire series and make a constructed deck into a best of three.
That would be sweet if Doug hadn't been deleting all his cards and MBT wasn't using his main account. It's doable, to be sure, but they'd have to rewatch all the videos to see what they even have.

What? No, that would suck. They'd just play a constructed match. Too-big collections turn into constructed fast, that's why OG Progression is miserable. We've seen all of these built decks before, except now it'd be minus hand traps. The beauty is in MBT stringing together outing three Shenshen with the cards found in a dumpster behind a store that sells FGO merch.

He didn't have to summon 3 Shenshen, and it may have cost him the game. But he did it for content and that's all that matters.
Can't even be mad if 3 Shenshen isn't optimal or whatever, the fact that in sealed you put 3 of them on turn 1 out is beyond amazing mister zeef.

I've yet to watch this episode, but I already know that MBT won't pull a single UR from the packs and every UR Mr Dzeef pulls is going to be from the pack

Saw the Heavenly General Ra'ten and knew this was going to be a playoffs jumpscare for MBT if it ever hit the board

Who would win, three Shen Shen or a couple of noble boys?
VW is such an odd archetype for me. Like, on the one hand, there are hands that are just "click yes turbo to win". And on the other hand, there are hands where you have to do fucking advanced calculus to pull out these insane plays. And on the third hand, it bricks more than any other meta deck in the past 3 years I've seen. And it's *still* amazing when it doesn't brick.
Run it with swordsman and u can make some crazy boards
I mean, it's power ceiling is low after the ban of True King of All Calamities.
This episode makes me so happy. Because I've always loved the Noble Knights. And I'm so sad that they've never really been good. The Infernobles were good, which is a small solace, but my OG equip spamming XYZ deck just never quite cut it. And as a fan of Arthurian lore, this makes me sad.

The problem wasn't MBT activating Miracle in the Imperm column. It was the DISRESPECT of banishing all those -unnecessary- additional Fusion Materials and WE LOVED IT.
I know VW cards have a lot of text on them but reading would have made a big difference here.
Yeah between just clicking buttons and actually being able to build a decent board. Even if given to a better llayer there wouldn't be an incredible board because VW mostly relies on other good extradeck monster ourside of their archetype, plus good draw spells that can help them when they brick. Still any other play would beat 3 macrocosmos without any interaction or relevant effect on the field. I have no idea how Dzeef tought it was a good idea to end on those 3.

@@Jrpg_guy At minimum if he played it correctly he could have ended in the macrocosmo+Jaja(that when used can protect from destruction until the end of the opponent's turn the macrocosmo)+the trap to destroy MBT'S normal summon. To not talk about ending on FunFun that basically can special 2 from deck or JiuJiu(but this one I can't remember if he pulled it) which is basically invincible in limited. Any kind of board he could have done would have banished stuff from Mbt's graveyard to fuck his combo's while also destroying his normal summon making it harder to climb to any relevant xyz and also put enough guys in the way that he would have been to able to have some follow up the next turn+any draw of a SW name would have likely been game.
VW do suck in limited usually but he somehow had a good hand game 2 and just did nothing interesting with it. I know he said he was just clicking buttons but he is a competitive yugioh player, did he really not even think to remember which card added the trap or at least realize that those 3 macrocosmos where useless without summoning something like Juju that gave protection?
@@GRtogetaBIC i mean i he aint reading cards and he did have JiuJiu, which would have been better then 3 shenshen. And for the playing correctly, he clearly won't improve ever. Why I can't tell you. He should be better. But to be fair, if that is his first with vw i can understand it being hard. The deck can be overwhelming for the first time.

My thoughts exactly, I really like the Arthurian legends but I don't like the Noble Knights cards at all.

Just to clarify France claims to have the swords of the infernoble knights which are historical figures (mostly i believe) while the British museum doesn't have any of the swords of the noble knights which is their equivalent to the infernoble knights except it's Arthurian so it's just fictional

Seeing Noble Knights win warms my heart. Absolutely love that deck and happy to see MBT pilot it. It is a shockingly hard deck to play especially a more constructed version.
of course Doug goes Super Saiyan God Blue and opens turn 1 with 3 Shenshen, MBT finds the easiest way to out them all

Doug's end board was great, except if it was any other deck MBT would've been cooked Luckily he had the Knights of the Round Table to help him out
It wasn't good lol. He literally burned through all of his resources to make 3 Shenshen for the memes and lost. He could instead end on 1 Shenshen, Chuche and like 5 cards in hand for turn 3 to full combo and OTK with stuff like Fanfan and Jiujiu. Pure VW is a grind deck.

What cards did you have a hand in creating?
The Tindangler is a position, not a person.
I want you two to do the same thing as you did with the budget decks where you had a limit of total amount of money to "spend" but in the opposite direction. you have a wheel that determines the minimum cost of each card you use. so if a deck has some common cards that are crucial to a deck, well tough luck. better hope there is an expensive alternative.
I really want to hype up Doug but as a VW player this episode just hurt my soul too much.

ive since moved on to mtg, but i did play master duel for a period of time, and ive been waiting this entire series and all of master saga for someone to play nobles/infernobles. it was the main deck i used when i played and i had a lot of fun with it

What Mate is MBT using? Is a Bujin one?
Just an idea for future episodes/seasons: include the first pack you get after crafting the card to unlock it and maybe even include the crafted card (maybe your opponent picks your craft idk). You won't get that much closer to constructed quality with 1 craft and 1 random pack but you will, in my opinion, make the matches just that marginal bit more fun and interesting while still resembling a playable strategy. It's not supposed to be chaos format at the end of the day.

All Doug needed to do turn 1 was set the Nyannyan and let it get attacked over. Then drawing Toutou turns from a brick into a free Shenshen.

There is no way attacks over a monster with tin dangles in the format. He bounced that card every time
