I have been using mine for about 6 weeks now. You videos REALLY have HELPED! I was using a grind size much smaller on my previous coffee beans. Just changed over to a fresh batch and seem to have it perfect after a few adjustments. Thanks again Hoon!

Hi thanks for good explanatory video. Could you please help with advice - I have a small problem to dial in Lavazza Top class beans. In my Barista Express. My inner burr is set to 3 and outside set is 4. With 18 grams dose I am around 10 sec with 36 g of liquid. When I change outer to 3 its too fine and puck is too wet. Any suggestion? thanks in advance

Hi, really appreciate your videos. Just had a quick question about what would be a real upgrade from the BDB as far as shot quality, full body and taste is concerned. I mainly use medium to dark roasts and not much into light roasts. I just want to get a machine that gives me a really noticeable difference and budget is £3000 (in UK). Thanks

Does it happen to you that when you find a good grind setting that pulls a few first good shots, when it's been a couple of days you have to grind it finer and finer? I keeps happening to me, withc fresh coffee, perfect shots in the first couple of days and then I have to grind it super fine in matter of a day or two. Sage/Breville support told me to descale. I did it, but it happens anyway... maybe it's something with the grinder idk. Any kind of help will be apreciated

Hi, what is your setup in the inner/upper burr in the Breville Barista Pro? It’s stock at 6 or it’s set at 1?

I had to set mine at 3. External is set at about 5.

Just wondering if anyone knows how to remove quite a stubborn wand tip from Breville Barista Pro, my plastic tool broke while using it to try and remove the tip, so not sure how to remove it now without damaging it. Please help 🤪

I have soaked mine in a glass of water with a few drops of bleach. Soak a few hours or overnight. I think the milk probably gets in the gasket area making it hard to remove.

I find my first shot in the morning to be a quick pull... second always takes much longer...

I allways start at 18 on new beans.. Then work my way down... 24 sec 👌 usually have 17.5 or 17g beans

I must be doing something wrong. Every shot is 13sec no matter what grind setting or even how hard I tamp it.
