Wow. I used to have one of these as a kid back in the early 80's. I kept it in good condition well into my adulthood. I ended up selling it on Ebay for $150.

It sickens me, that Mattel destroyed the Tyco brand slot car, 440x2. Now their using Auto World, to make their hot wheels redline editions. Be careful, AW. I would not want to see the same thing happened to you, that happened to the Tyco brand of slot cars.

Always loved these slots. The only negative thing that I have to say about slot cars is that they actually go to fast.... I know that sounds boring and crazy, but I think if they went 1/4 of the actual speed, they'd be more fun to watch as they raced instead of just seeing a streak go around the track.
