    Watched a couple of your videos. Real, awesome. Thanks. Hubby is "pull the pin for a year on corp life, let's live". I am "oh my god, I might not get another job in a year" resistant. The more I watch videos like yours I am coming to the conclusion. Life is short. Live it. There is no comparison of life experiences to life sitting at a desk. Thanks! All the best for your travels! P.S. What drew me to your vids was that we are looking at a Jayco.

      Hey Thanks Sharrilee I am glad you found me! 100 percent life is too short 🫶 we are tired of spending life stuck at a desk or working long hours. You need to think about enjoying all the moments you can ✔️ glad you are here and thank you for commenting 😘

      Glad you enjoyed it! Turns out it may be cheaper to travel than stay at home 😂

    It’s worth it ! We’ve traveled many times through Australia, WA, Asia, USA and NZ twice all with our two boys. Costs a bit but it’s called “living” . If you can do it, or where a budget allows for just camping trips, it’s always worth it.

      For sure - it’s quite reasonable to travel. Our only overspend is wanting to go to the wineries, pubs and restaurants... oh and bakery’s

    Awesome, thanks for sharing with us your family expenses. Really gives me an idea she to expect! Also if you could share in a next video your average expenses on unexpected get aways that would be grand!

    $1K/week is what most say. Enjoying your video's.

      Yes they do, plus if you take out the booze, dinners out and the regular bill it works out pretty much that. But we do often spend a lot more than that too. Thanks for watching Cliff and happy you are enjoying our videos / it means a lot

    Very informative video. We were shocked at some of the prices until we realized you were talking Australian, and not U.S. dollars.😀

      Thanks mate! Yes it would be super affordable for Americans with the exchange rate for sure. We did meet a family who was from Washington travelling last year, they hired cars and a motor home

    Seems a lot but when you actually add up you expenses week to week at home its probably not much difference. Having some sort of income while you travel would be ideal but figuring out what is the hard part. Otherwise I couldnt handle burning through my savings lol The experiences are priceless but I think I'd travel a bit further each time then return to home. Thanks for the video 👌 Good to see you in a landcruiser 🙂

    • @Donna.Buckingham
      @Donna.Buckingham  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah bloody love our land cruiser - our travel budget was a lot less than our expenses at home but yes we spend all our savings

    If you don't me asking how do afford to travel and not work, what funds the trip?

    • @Donna.Buckingham
      @Donna.Buckingham  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We saved, sold a business and sold a lot of our stuff.
