the rain, the music, the ✨immersion✨ i felt like i was in a tavern listening to you regale the tale of your lighthouse quest! 🌊 i also love how you picked a more moody theme for summer. great vid as always! ❤
I love the moody, foggy late afternoon/dusk atmospheric vibes of this theme. It reminds me of Maine on the coast, with the rocky beaches and mist rising, giving everything a muted greyscale haze. 🪨🚢🌊 If you've ever seen the video game Dredge by Black Salt Games, it gives me those vibes. Lovely music too!
I haven’t but I’ll have to check out some footage from the game to see what you mean! I’m so glad you enjoyed it ❤️ I’ve never been to Maine, but it reminds me of a grey day in the maritimes here in Canada!
Your videos are incredible. The soundscape you created for the lighthouse is amazing and then you managed to turn it down enough when there was voice over. As I write this I can see roses and honeysuckle bloom on my terrace under a sunny summer sky. That is my idea of June. The way you execute your vision, however, is so right in itself, that I love watching how everything comes together.
Art makes ppl feel things and connect and I love how a bullet journal video can do this. It just shows the importance of all art forms in the human experience
What a beautiful theme. It looks like the landscape around where I leave in Brittany (tip of France, North West). Steep cliffs and rocks in the sea, which is often agitated as the Atlantic Ocean merges with the Channel, moody weather during 6 months, lots of lighthouses... what a beautiful representation of my homeland, thank you very much and... congratulations !!
Oh wow, I love this! Thank you for sharing ❤️ I’ve never been to Brittany but I was remember my time in the maritimes here in Canada and my visit to Scotland while drawing this 🥰
@@PlantBasedBride Brittany looks a lot like Scotland except for the sea which is much more agitated. It can be scary but it's amazingly beautiful to watch especially if you are inside !!
Loved this page sketch. I had been toying with oceany themes...tan pirate or blue grey selkie for july and you decided it for me with the moody greyscale. I don't love this hot sunny time of year in the PNW and the rain sounds were so soothing. 💙🩵💚
Seeing the beautiful imaginative places this video has taken people reminds me virgina woolfes book "To the lighthouse" where the kighthouse means different things to different people but its all part of their journey and this is trulu that, we were all taken a joirney bu this vid and found something special and relaxing
Love this; can't describe how I feel other than "exactly how you intended it to feel". - Makes me think of our Dutch islands and of "The Forgotten Letters Of Esther Durrant" by Kayte Nunn. (Ironically I almost DNFed it, but everyone's taste is different.)
It is incredible how you make such beautiful art even from simple black lines. I did expect you to make the light with gold and was surprised you didn't do that but honestly the pic looks stunning even without the gold.
I decided to do the entire theme for my bullet journal this year as japanese manga. So far I've been enjoying an entire journal only in black and white. Love your theme for june, it reminds me of my journal ❤
I’m reading Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson and while I’ve been reading, I’ve been listening to fantasy and pirate vibe playlists. This music fits right in to those vibes 🫶🏼
I seriously randomly clicked this video in my to watch list, and yesterday I finished The lighthouse bookshop by Sharon Gosling. Eerie. 😆🥰 Anywhoo... I LOVED this video and the stule you chose. I haven't seen the video you are talking about so I am gonna go check that out right now.
I love this theme. It looks amazing. I think it's something I could do. I just might try it. Thanks for all your content. You give me so many great ideas for my Bujo and my book reads!
Wow, did you ever catch my mood with this beautiful spread! Even as I sit here in 90 degree weather, my mind has been on a foggy, misty lighthouse island for weeks now😶🌫️! Thank you, as always…inspiring✨🤎🤩
Loved that drawing!!! It is stunning, what great work 🙌 It looks so simple, just a pen drawing, but I'm sure all those details have to have taken their time, but the result is beautiful ❤
Oh wow!! Love the drawing style (like your owl from a few months back but more delicate) Out of curiosity - what the music that you have in the background? It sounds like Max Richter but I can’t place it. Thx ❤
Definitely some similar techniques used in both! I’m a sucker for line art 😅 The music is from Epidemic Sound and the tracks used were: - The Prophecy by Howard Harper-Barnes - The Protagonist by Howard Harper-Barnes - In Frozen Waters by Hampus Naeselius
Oh I’m obsessed with the background ambience! I’d suggest making the music a lil bit quieter when you’re speaking, since it can be a little distracting:) Might just be my ADD tho!
I always turn the music down a lot while I’m speaking, but this time I wanted to keep it more present for the✨vibes✨ so I left them a teeny tiny bit louder than usual. I’m sorry it was distracting!

There needs to be an award for “ most aesthetic TH-cam channel” cause you deserve it 100%
You have now become part of my daily routine ✨🥰

Been in a bit of a creative rut lately but I think you just inspired me to give line art a whirl! I love the negative space! And Chewy ❤
