After Zayne's branch, I had made up the theory that, we will be learning more about Ever with each branch which will ultimately lead us to the 5th guy. Since Ever is the true evil and makes experiments on humans to create wanderers, it's obvious that the first "enemy", Onychinus, will most likely team up with the hunter's association to fight Ever. I mean, we have now learned that Luke and Kieran were indeed experimented on and sent away for disposal, so Sylus must have a deep hatred for that group. As for Caleb... many think that he and the Ever guy from chapter 8 are one and the same person. I don't know if that's the case. But we do know about his Evol. And that he must actively use it to move objects. And since the necklace was right in front of MC is proof enough that Caleb is alive. This is my theory.

I've predicted that the new LI would be announced after the branches and 6 months after Sylus's release (so some time in January) since Sylus released 6 months after the game release. I also made a video explaining why the guy with Rafayel isn't Caleb but that's on my Instagram and tiktok along with most of my videos. Slowly working to post them here 😅

I actually was thinking that maybe grandma confessed to Caleb part of the truth about MC, and together they were trying to protect MC. Grandma seems like an ordinary old lady, but let`s not forget she was one of the scientists who killed child MC during and experiment to prove their theory that MC could revive. She knew MC would be in danger sooner or later. Caleb could have chosen to work for Ever so he`d be closer to the enemy. The day of the explosion, it felt to me like grandma and Caleb had their own plans and were leaving MC in the dark. Caleb was already planning to stay close to MC from then on and grandma was supposed to go to somewhere else to rest and recover. It felt like they knew more than they let on and where already taking steps to keep everyone safe. The explosion took them by surprise, and Caleb changged plans. It`s just my wild especulation. I`m looking forward to Caleb`s return. And it`d be interested if his relationship with MC was a more complicated one.
