I think the way you covered the cakes is probably the best way as I’d think if you did it like your pancake stack it might not have the sharp edges you want for the boxes? Hey. I just had a quick watch and it looks like each pizza box is a 7 inch square cake. I just happened to have some sheet cakes spare that needed using at the time. Hope that helps.
