    Although not much is still standing it is cool to explore the old ruins!

    If you've not been before there are smaller but still impressive remains of the old abbey at Kirkstead, by Woodhall Spa. Several stories tall, demolished when Henry VIII fell out with the church. Also a nice church further down the same track.

      There is also the 'Tower on the Moor' over in Woodhall itself although it is on the EGU golf course. It is thought that it is the remains of a hunting lodge constructed by the same man as Tattershall castle. Only one turret remains today though.
