Protip, if you're a messy sketcher like me, erasable color pencils are good for being able to tell what's what by assigning colors to different objects (good for detail/cluttered images). You can just buy Crayola brand ones if you want to try it out to see if you'd like it. They're alright to start with.

All the Copics(my local store only has the Ciao type for double the price) and all of the Screentone options you have over there🤩 (we have NOTHING here and I wish yo try them)!
I am so envious of people who can just enter a store and get any marks of any color, we don't even have stores that sells markers where I am at... So satisfying to watch.

I'm not an artist but watching her buy Copic markers makes my day!
I really wish Copic was in stores when I was in art school. Our teachers made us go broke buying Prisma... they were like 12 dollars separate or buy set. Now that I'm out of college I see copic online and I'm like really could have needed that like a couple years ago. Sad part even if they have less expensive markers some art professors are so annoying with their product choices that you have to have. So choosing Copic over Prisma probably wouldn't have been an option. And they seriously wanted you to buy an entire set for like 400 dollars.

Hey guys! Quick reminder that copic supplies and most art supplies in general are cheaper in Japan than in the US because it is a much larger industry there. That’s not to say that her wallet isn’t going to hurt, but it’s less painful than buying them in American stores.
