- To celebrate our milestone of reaching 20k subscribers we've done a bit of a laid back video today, being a sneak peak tour of the shop, along with answering some of your questions! We're so grateful to all you guys so we hope you enjoy a more personal look around our little shop!

Here in SA, the shoe repair man is becoming a rare craft! In a big city you'll be lucky if you find one! I always had to ware orthopedic flat soles and no-one can make them anymore. I just walk bare-foot even in town.

great video, love the bay window that shows the work as it happens, though I hate when people watch me work haha. Also I was a Motor Trimmer for many years so I can confirm that tools and machines are one of those things that you really want a mix of old and new is very common, I've seen sewing machines from the '50's in workshops used like new. love the content and the shop tour was a great insight. The tiny door for the fairy's need to be in the main shop just for the kids to get a kick out of, otherwise a great touch to the shop

congratulations , your shop is very complete, also very nice in order , in Mexico it is not posible to find individual repair shops like this , only in the important cities and in nice neighborhouds , we are boot makers , so welt construction , and yes the machinery is very expensive and the old machines are still the best ones, we are small , only making 4000 cowboyboots weekly, but our city Leon in the state of Guanajuato is making around 186 million pairs each year , not including tennis shoes , regards from mexico , robert ( I am from belgium )
