Thanks for this reaction. @RomainAxisa shows great control of his vocals here and his poetic lyrics are heart-wrenching. His guitar mastery adds a power to this piece that is inescapable. This charming singer-songwriter is developing into a very special artist and his career is going to be fun to watch. Thank you for supporting Romain and other independent and rising artists.
Romain Axisa is an amazing human . He always answers me when I comment on his you tubes He is so kind. I have lyme disease like Ren and had a similar experience and Romain and Ren lived together for a while so I follow all the Remegades and they are all awesome ppl Not to mention Romain is probably one of the best guitarists of our time
Every time I hear this I’m mesmerised and I have an intense physical reaction as grief and sadness - the actual trauma of being alive in a war-torn, hate- filled world is expressed through this sincere, unpretentious composition and raw striking performance. It’s visceral and wrenching. Words fail me really. Thank you for your honest, appreciative reaction. Blessings to you and yours❤
Incredibly moving. So heart felt and heart breaking. Romain does some beautiful solo pieces but, for me, this is by far the best I have heard from him. Thank you for reacting to this.
Romain is breathtakingly powerful here. The lyrics, the guitar and the vocals are screaming out in the silence of the space and it's echoing the cries.
Oh Jesse, I love Romain’s voice and his lyrics are truly inspiring. He knows how to touch emotionally. This track is just so magical and his voice is beautiful. The classical Spanish influence in the guitar playing mixed with the bluesy slides is so neat. This is the perfect setting for these words. Btw The Sound Of Silence is one of my favourite tracks. I have seen Paul Simon sing it live, and it was so stunning to hear him sing it with such powerful sentiment and give it meaning, as even now the lyrics apply more than ever! I’d love you to discuss Sounds of Silence in one of your live streams.
I love when reactors branch out to Romain! Thank you. The whole 2nd part of the song makes me so emotional, from the "held notes" to the guitar bit. I love him. You should check out the song that ends with "(Live at Sunset)". Sorry, i forget the french part of the name of the song. It's all in French but it is gorgeous. It was my first solo bit of his that I ever saw. His solo busking stuff is amazing too.
Man I am just starting down the Romain rabbit hole and I’m sooo soo impressed Here is a little playlist of what I’ve discovered so far I would love for you to react to Georgia on my mind.:) It’s really something special th-cam.com/play/PLJDpFiX2FEnw-TjOtD2irD9nPR_QofUF2.html&si=AvDOE-_k0sqFEgsb
