UNLV vs Sluka IMO the truth is somewhere in the middle. Sluka gave Holy Cross 4 years and graduated. Why would he go cross country if it were not for a &100k payday? He was a fool to not have a written NIL contract before setting foot on campus. I am totally on his side since he knows he’s not going to the NFL and is trying to get something before his eligibility is up. Maybe that $100k before taxes helps him have a down payment on a house. Also how is this different to when players opt out of bowl games because they don’t want to risk an injury and hurt their draft stock? IMO Odom & his coaches are chicken sh-t and so is their program. Same program that is staying in a leftover crap G5 conference. Maybe Daño is right about the portal.
@@rutgers182 The player usually enrolls before the season starts. Therefore an NIL agreement can be had after enrollment but before season starts. If the player doesn’t get the NIL contract they can could choose not to play and go into the portal next opening. We know that money is being promised in advance before commitment. Just needs to enroll to get it in writing.
Spencer! Let's hear about the service academies next week, especially Army and Navy. Both are looking really good, and assuming Navy beats UAB...both will be 4-0 👀
Barry Odom certainly knew, due to a disgruntled QB, that one of his coaches pulled a bait and switch. He had the both the means and the opportunity to rectify the situation and make good on the promise via UNILV or a withdrawal from an old school slush fund. Barry Odom played a game of chicken and learned the hard way that Sluka would not stand for it. Odom also learned that his leverage was illusory. He was arrogant and obstinate. Now his reputation is in the crapper, UNLV looks shady and cheap, and all of the players, fans, and alumni lose.
@Shansman BYU is impressive. But they are the underdog according to Vegas, surprisingly. The only one that makes sense to not be the favorite imo is CO but not by the amount they have them at.
The ACC is by far, the weakest "power" conference again this year. But it's even worse than last season. So Miami can go on thinking they're way, easy better than they actually are, most likely until at least until their first game the playoffs (probably round 2) sure.... Probably a top ten team... masquerading as a to five team, due to a wildly underwhelming, almost entirely mediocre conference.
When you practice against the best it make game day a pickup Saturday wit the homies. Go Canes

ND has absolutely no business being in the playoff. 1 of the most overrated incomplete teams in the playoff race.
yeah but their viewership is big. They should get an automatic bid if they're in the top 200 teams
Lol that's God's team 🤣🤣

Did you know that you're not legally allowed to sign a contract for NIL before enrolling.

L'Ville vs ND should be a good one... Must win for ND
I think it'll be fantastic in front of a great crowd

You just might.
I think USF is just as good if not better than VT!!! We should roll tonight 37-17
We’re scoring at least 40
I think USF would beat VT if they played.
sluka didn't have a signed contract , per Bud Elliott
I am a big fan of Cam Ward, though...
no one cares
Barry oden could have fixed it

I think you're right, bruh.
I try to be.
My upset picks for the week are Louisville over ND, USF over Tulane, BYU over Baylor and Colorado over UCF 🙂
Yeah I agree with those picks. BYU won't be a upset, tho. BYU is really solid this year

Colorado!!

Miami gonna put another crack in Memorial Stadium next week. 😟🐻
Well this aged poorly....Miami got exposed tonight. They needed a hand out from the refs to beat a VT team that has lost to Vanderbilt and Rutgers. 😂
