With all due respect, a true restoration and recovery of all parts back to OEM state, means to clean up all the destruction, then fill in all of the many rusting locations with some metallic paste, and a final enamel coating, or carbon black powder coating, and have everything smooth, polished, clean, and totally 100% working shape.
i get your point but theres only so much welding and grinding you can do before destroying the oridgonal shape such as with the dp-27 witch was the reason he left inbetween the groves of the barrel pitted and the main shroud pitted becuse the plating is rather thin after all. and so if he were to mess up he would do more dammage then good and plus the pitting wont damage it in any way but its the closest he was comfertable is what im presuming.
@@paulwatson2499 Point your finger at yourself. You don't know what I have. And they damned well aren't all muddied, pitted, and rusted. If you truly say you are doing a restoration, a restoration is not a reclamation and only getting off the crap, and having a non-working model of the object. A restoration is a 100% restoration of all parts, pits, rust, stains, back to factory model pristine status. So I stand by my statement. Reclamation is one thing; restoration is totally 100% back to a fully functional and working model.

I am not sure if you were just kidding around or know this. When you were trying to wash the spring and it wouldn't fit into the cleaner. The thing to do is use a zip tie to get it as tight as you can. Then it will fit in no prob.

AND WHY ARD YOU GUYS USING A DEBURRING BIT AS A END MILL, that's not how you machine parts but that is how you make garbage looking ones. Also you're welding to hot and to slow. You're painting the part which are making them out of tolerance. It's disgusting what you're doing to these guns.

It was very easy to disassemble for a gun that had been rusty for years.

Whatever this guy's does, do the opposite! Nothing he builds will work.
Looks like a fake video.
Rust covering the entire surface, but no corrosion at all.
