Just a short study of a Snowy Egret feeding itself, with ending showing the golden feet that are different from other egrets. It only hunts fish small enough to swallow whole. Egrets do not chew, but they may bite to break the spine of a very wiggly victim, make them paralyzed, or dead, then swallow. 3 were caught & swallowed, on 1 capture I slowed down the film so you can see better. @@kathysenn7664 Hey there, you're welcome! The Snowy is my Zoolander egret LOL and moves so fast that filming with a phone gets crazy, but fun. I was hiding behind a tree, also. This small cove has a rental kayak facility, I told the owners to promote the local birds on their Google Maps listing.
