That's a good question! Yes! Addl ADs are usually Basecamp ADs. The 1st team runner or Basecamp PA works closely with the Basecamp AD. I know some shows don't have a Basecamp AD so all the responsibilities fall to whoever the Basecamp PA is. So there might not be too much of a difference, only when you have both a Basecamp AD and PA - one being the AD would be prepping the PR, during the day. Not the Basecamp PA - the heads of dept will talk to the Basecamp AD first before the PA. - also the AD will usually organize who goes in what chair in what order according to what HMU prefers/needs. But if there's is no Basecamp AD then that PA is basically doing AD work at PA pay. And then the key 2nd has to do more to help the Basecamp PA while also worrying about their callsheet, and things for tomorrow

I just found out about a job in which they are looking for a NU AD to work as a Basecamp PA, and it'd just be that Basecamp PA and the 2nd AD. And of course, I've never heard of the "Basecamp PA" role before, let alone worked as one! Are there any other responsibilites this role would be expected to perform?

Quick question about PAs, does being an Office PA count towards the 600 days or is that strictly a Set PA?
