I think Maruti suzuki has delivered a superior flagship product which is bang on in Features, Looks, Build quality (yes the best in maruti) , Mileage (kitna deti hai) and smooth performance. We Indians cannot expect everything together but this car strikes a fine balance on these fronts. People talk about lack of power but it's not felt beyond 1.7k rpm. The turbo kicks in very linearly and the ride quality is amazing at high speeds. In fact, I can only realize i'm at a higher speed when I use brakes due to obstacles or looking at the speed. It still delivers around 19 km/litre overall with AC in mixed driving conditions (city, ghat, highways) in spite of lugging its 1.2 ton body and engine weight. The mileage will only improve with further engine run in and good driving habits. The smart hybrid feature saves diesel, reduces pollution and provides power assist. It's the best feature packed value for money car given that the Suzuki after sales experience will always be affordable and great.

honest review - our needs - 1. space 2. suspension 3. good power 4. good ground clearance 5. safety features. 1st we went for test drive of vitara brezza.to be honest enough , it did'nt have good quality plastics.It is bascially meant for those people who are all about looks.brezza was not as good as scross in terms of suspension.space was good for 5 people. 2nd we went to nexa and had a test drive for scross zeta model.In the 1st 30 seconds i knew we will buy this car. reasons - 1. space is awesome 2. power is awesome 3. suspension is way better than scross 4. premium looks 5. more than enough space for 5 people. 6. good boot space. 7. airbags and all disc brakes. 8. climate control is awesome. 9. parking sensors are also excellent. overall my final verdict is Try brezza and scross both.you will surely go for scross. Note - people also say that it lacks power.believe me that this car is fast.damn fast.period. One thing that my experience tells me that one should not go too much in reviews online before buying anything. They want features of 50 lakh car in a 10 lakh car. and if we had more time to wait , we would have also tried new ertiga..but we needed the car urgently.
I drove this car aswell as Brezza extensively one by one. Overall driving experience and feel was better in Brezza. Maruti shouldn't have dropped 1.6 litre engine as it was it's main USP. However no doubt current S Cross is much better than earlier one.
5656sanjay New 1.5L engine is coming soon to S cross. Both petrol 1.5 and diesel 1.5. But if you want reliability then nothing beats the average 1.3l ddis 200.
Hello Sir, Sorry im writing this question here in this video just because your attention. I booked S-CROSS before 15-days but I cancelled it and I booked petrol CRETA but it's not looking like a SUV. But after watching this videos of comparison I found S-CROSS is also a Better option. I am too much confused and Specially i wish to buy SUV like vehicle. The Creta will give you more road presence, but is also noticeably more expensive. The S-Cross comes with a more efficient engine, but makes noticeably less power compared to the Creta. If you are not really bothered about power and space, get the S-Cross. But if you want good quality interiors, more space, more power, then go for the Creta.
What about smart hybrid technology. Will it have problems say after 5 to 10 years. Read somewhere that battery for shvs is expensive around 10k plus in addition to car battery.. Why there are no videos on how shvs smart hybrid work in real time?

kishor dr car is very nice but when u drive ecosport , nexon , Ford aspire , creat 1.6 u will fell that car is under power , the only minus point is engine performance at lower Rpm , after 2200 rpm its run very good but sometimes lower power is very annoying.

But S cross is only targeted on people who need tons of practicality, good fuel economy, reliability and good after sales service backup even in tier 3 towns. And for relaxed highway drives with cruise control. Power is decent. Till 120 engine is not that strained on highways. 100@2200rpm and 120@2600 rpm. In terms of space, comfort and practicality EcoSport is no match for S cross.

An S-cross any day. I have done 1200 kms in one day of travel on my alpha on Indian roads. Absolutely marvellous on comfort, safety, handling & power as well.

Ronin R yes, the battery does make it an issue. If the battery gets weak, the SHVS doesn't work
