S.T.E.A.M and English Language Teaching - Mariana Siqueira

S.T.E.A.M education gives students the opportunity to develop their critical thinking skills and creativity in solving real world problems. Exploring S.T.E.A.M in the English language classroom not only allows for language development, but expands the possibilities for student inquiry, collaboration and the honing of 21st century skills.
Mariana Siqueira is an English language teacher at Cultura Inglesa São Paulo. A CELTA, TKT and Train the Trainer holder, she is currently working alongside Cultura Inglesa’s academic department in the development of new products for schools. Mariana has researched and works intensely on ELT in partnerships with regular schools. She presented her research on group cohesiveness and creative writing at the 2018 IATEFL conference.
