4th edition Armoured company rules in White Dwarf were a lot of fun with the unique doctrine they came with. Nothing like the look on someones face when they charge your tank and get hit with Int. 10 heavy bolters in close combat re-rolling 1's to hit. Who said Guard couldnt be good in close combat 😅
Goddamn this was nice. Man, abp you can make paint drying sound CAPTIVATING! I really appreciate these dives into the foundational aspects of the lore that too often gets overlooked. You have a staggering anthology of these deep dives into the lore, and its fucking appreciated! Thank you!

I’m planning on running an army of 60 odd guard tanks to some of the regular UK Epic Armageddon tournaments in the New Year. Smaller 6-8mm scale but still 40k setting and you get to have full armies on the table no just piddly scouting forces like a 32mm scale 40k army at it’s standard game size. Good video to get me in the mood for mass tanks.
The description must be from the Royal Army. A Squadron is otherwise equivalent to a Battalion (3+ companies). Armor being Cavalry. The chronic use of "Squadron" referring to a Squad (smaller than a Platoon) takes some getting use to.
