    Finally on catch up. The ducks are so lovely to watch, although quite bold little ducks.

    Rooting for you from Romania! I really appreciate the down to earth way in which you present this sort of lifestyle, I hope you'll keep at it!

    Crops are looking great - lots of diversity

    • @thenordskov
      @thenordskov  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, yeah there’s still a wide variety on going. A lot gets eaten than swapped out. The season has been another short fast and shocking one. Given a few nights before 8c so that doesn’t do the fruiting plants any good. All trials still really to see what produces and what has a hard time. Thanks for watching and commenting as always. Hope your getting on well

    Love your introductions! Looks like it is going to be a bountiful harvest. Pond 3.0 (?) looks great. 😄 Rain… I am yearning for a decent rain storm at this point. Tigerella tomatoes look great! Watched in full and liked. Excitement-a-plenty 😉👍 Marcus

      Harvest won’t be great. There will be a fair few different types of tomatoes and pumpkin but the temperatures keep dropping which in turn is not doing great for all the flowering and fruiting plants… but we will see eh! Ponds ponds everywhere. There will be two.
      Hopefully you get some rains soon, been plenty here recently. Thanks for the watch and comment. Hope your channels are doing well etc. all the best

    All the veggies are looking good. I hope you can salvage some from the bed that the ducks trampled on!

      Thanks, I know I just went through it all and had to snip a fair amount out. I’m hoping that some will bounce back. The ducks wrath is always on going. Will all be raised and netted by next season… I hope ha. Thanks for watching and commenting as usual. I hope your well

    What a cool location, looks very peaceful, Sweden looks as beautiful as Denmark :D love all your veggies, such a great amount of greens - if you need a labourer, holler, think I could help :D

    You are never boring! WOW what a variety of veggies you have grown. Never heard of many of them - thanks for the text on screen - now going to google. How are you going to preserve all these gorgeous veggies? Maybe that could be a video in the making? Exciting about having the stove for the winter - it will be so cosy.

    • @thenordskov
      @thenordskov  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, yeah hopefully the stove get sorted finally. Gas has been a joke. Veggies, most will be eaten and if there are excess then pickled, fermented and water bath canning. Would love a pressure canner but they are hard to get hold of at a sensible price.
      Thanks for watching and commenting and I hope your getting on ok. All the best

    I like seeing the different vegetables you are growing. How are you going to preserve alle the greens?

    • @thenordskov
      @thenordskov  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ferment, pickle and water bath canning. Most will probably be eaten. Need ten fold more crops growing

    I loved seeing all the vegetables you're growing, looks amazing 😍 what do you think of the No dig method?

    • @thenordskov
      @thenordskov  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Everything is no dig. It’s all I really use , I do want to try growing on hay bails next season. The whole setup is really using permaculture values, right down to the ducks for pest control. The two rescues have now turned to 30 soooo.. the hens and drakes have now been separated haha. Thanks for watching and commenting.
