Here in Bologna we are in Love with Lewis Ferguson. True Sportsman, hardworker very good footballer. We are aware that many big clubs are watching over him, he deserve recognition, we just wish we can keep him with us for some more season
Perfect analysis. Lewis certainly scored some magnificent goals for us, he has good feet, he's humble and hard-working, but I think his defining trait is just how "tactically intelligent" - as you beautifully put it - he is. I love watching him work for the team week after week, consistently in the right place at the right time and choosing the best option available to him. He was born to play Motta's style of football, and it's VERY entertaining to watch. I do hope he stays another year. He will certainly stay in our hearts, should he choose to leave. Forza Bologna sempre ❤️💙 and forza Lewis 🏴❤
Great video mate. I am a Juve fan but already set my eyes on Lewis once he landed at Bologna--just because I have a soft spot for every Scotsman in Serie A. I love this player and he looks like a natural pick for Motta. Bologna suits him and vice versa. I heard a lot of rumors about Juve approaching Lewis, I hope the lad will stay at Bologna with Thiago Motta longer. They play one of the most appealing football so far in Serie A. They are currently in UCL territory and I am excited to see how far they go.
We still miss Ferguson at the deen. Was a shame to lose him, but he wanted to make the move and deserved it. Hard-nosed player but unbelievably versatile. I do not exaggerate when I say he can do just about anything on the pitch. I think he would work really well at Newcastle under Howe.
As a true & BIG TIME Serie A aficionado, and a Milan fan for 30+ years, I know what a truly great addition to my club Ferguson would be (but I know AC Milan have his position quite well covered - so the chances to come to Milan are less than slim), still, I'm aware about the reality on the ground, which is why, I truly hope (if he decides to leave Bologna, although if they qualify for UCL, or even Europa League) he'd be staying in Bologna (along with Zirkzee, and most importantly, T.Motta) and try to become another Atalanta, who also were in a similar situation, some 7, 8 years ago, and managed to be ultra competitive, both in UCL & EL, & Serie A, all the time and leave their mark, whilst selling players for huge profits, but after 3, 4 years, also began spending 70, 80 million to reinforcements (so they'd become financially truly stable) and became one of the "7 Sisters" in Italian football (kicking out Fiiorentina from the distinguished company, but after having seen La Viola coming back towards the top of Serie A & leaving their footprint in Europe, the company started to be dubbed "7 Sisters + Fiorentina) ..I just hope Bologna will be able to replicate Atalanta success in Italy and Europe! . And Ferguson, who has already became their captain, will lead them towards this success and glory! But even if he doesn't remain in Bologna, and decides to try for another challenge, I JUST HOPE IT'S NOT RUBENTINOS! ANYTHING BUT THEM! That abomination of a club, shouldn't ever be in this good fellow's mind, cuz that's not a football club, but a mafia organisation that cheats, rubs, corrupts everything & anyone around them. So plzzz Lewis, as much as I wanna see you in Serie A, if the choice is between Rubentus and going to EPL, better take the latter choice, cuz Rubentinos are not a club for an honest fellow like yourself!
Bro i subbed 2 weeks back after watching the warren zairre emery video, ive been coming back ever since, and im gonna enjoy watching your growth in TH-cam Top videos
On the Scotland Squad: the problem he has with breaking into the first XI is that it's probably our strongest part of the pitch - it's where all our goals come from. McGregor is the most underrated cog in the machine, Gilmour is a progressive monster and McGinn drives everything we do. He'll no doubt make the squad for Germany, but he may have to wait a few years until McGinn slows down. No doubt he is part of the next generation of Scotland players with Gilmour, Doak Rory Wilson etc.
The problem he has is everything is going so well atm that clarke won't change anything. You'd argue he's fighting with McTominay for a spot, who I don't really rate, but if he keeps scoring then he won't be dropped anytime soon. A move to a bigger club, like rumoured Juve, might change Clarke's perception.
@@olliecopland I’m not so sure. You saw how much he overlooked hickey until he got his prem move, now he’s a regular starter. I think Clarke may still overlook him if he’s a squad player for juve
Yes but there will be a lot of competition for him in the summer, imagine Napoli will be keen aswell. He has shown already this season how good a manager he is, especially in what he's getting out of Ferguson and Zirkzee

As a Serie A watcher, two players have impressed me this season, Ferguson of Bologna and Gudmundsson of Genoa. Another great video, cheers.
Thanks. Gudmundsson is really fun to watch, might be a video in there at some point...

I wouldn't mind seeing him at Inter but I guess he's keen on playing in England.
Do you think Thiago Motta can do wonders with AC Milan as he has been just linked with them today?
Yes but there will be a lot of competition for him in the summer, imagine Napoli will be keen aswell. He has shown already this season how good a manager he is, especially in what he's getting out of Ferguson and Zirkzee
