Thrifting at Goodwill & Savers - the stores were empty so we hit up five thrift stores in one day

- Our normal thrift stores didn’t have enough home decor so we had to go to savers in Goodwill to get enough items for our thrift haul and our shop

Utah has the cheapest thrift stores in the US the ones where I live are a lot more expensive.
Right?!! I’m in northern Virginia and have NEVER seen such low prices at any of the thrift stores near me.
Yes!!! I always say that when I see their prices. Live in North Carolina and that seems like here they're very high 🤣
Yes, I live in California. I know California is more expensive but I look at the prices they pay and it would be triple here at least.
I need to make a trip to Utah with a UHaul I guess and fill it up from their thrift stores to resell in my vintage booth in California

Thrift stores ,habitat, and even garage sales have all raised their prices
Seems that they now price on what they think up cyclers and resellers will get
They want to be paid for the potential they think the piece has
Without doing the work or having the supplies that it takes
Makes it more challenging and have to be even more creative
Still have fun doing it and love the vintage

There are so many DI’s in your area. There are two in my state. at least one is close by but pricey. Love your thrift videos. But my style is definitely vintage so why do I watch? It is mesmerizing!

The Canadian side of Savers is Value Village. The prices are not great. Unfortunately we do not have DI and the other options are not too hot. I envy you your DI thrifting. It will be an interesting Saturday night premiere.

Always the best! The real genius is seeing the potential! My local thrifts are hit or miss! Once I saved these ugly decor multiple cube shaped pictures, I knew I could gesso them and paint coordinated sets! The manager gave them to me for a dollar each, most likely because they wouldn’t sell otherwise! Blessed and joy filled season!

Jamie, spray some dawn power wash on those shades and rinse then sit outside to dry. You will be amazed at how clean they get

I work at our local goodwill here in Northern California.
Sometimes the prices are really good but then some random basket will be $8. I don’t get their pricing and haven’t been there long enough to question. What I am shocked about are the things they DONT sell. Those items go to special sellers 😳.
