Never liked the Cormorant until I had one in my hand. Fidget factor is off the charts. Ended up getting one for a crazy reasonable price about 6 months ago. It is a slicing monster! Like to see it in a more budget friendly option. Great video.
Hell yeah Kizer and Spyderco do the most amount of different steels than any other company. Kizer does a lot of different handle materials as well. They are the most versatile knife company.
Fair warning, my spine wacked my first Cormorant and sheered the button off 😅, the button is a little more petite with a smaller diameter( OD and shaft) than other buttons. Less robust of a knife but the most fidget knife I own!
Kizer has perfected jimping. Not aggressive, and placement of jimping is usually outstanding. They'll often extend it more than other manufacturers. The jimping in the Baby has jimping for the thumb and index finger.
i’m carrying magic beans and dreams today gweggy The Cormorant is pretty darn ugly but it works well. The new Tetris one is pretty cool. I have the G10 “XX” version. No way is Kizer more “versatile” in blade steel than Benchmade. Benchmade uses practically every steel, you kinda have to look hard to find a steel they haven’t used if it’s a mainstream steel.
Benchmade does use some different steels I'll give that but idk if they have used more then Kizer definitely not spydie. Just in the past year Kizer has used a fk ton. D2, 9cr, n690, nitro v, 154, s35vn s45, 20cv, lc200n, 3v, 4v, 10v, s90v, elmax, m390. There's probably more.
Hey. You mentioned the Vosteed Corgi having the same approach to multi deployment. It seems Kizer is more willing to experiment and Vosteed goes with what worked for the Kizers. That makes sense, in that Kizer is so much bigger. I like that Kizer is keeping the Cormorant alive. As a unrelated side point, I am sick to death of OD green 😿. And frag is just pretty brutal on garments. I also hate high heat, black flies, slow left lane drivers, and... ✨😺
Love the Cormorant and plan on checking these out. I have the Double X version, Serape, and WMK Ti M390 version. For Tanto Tuesday, I'm rocking the dlt exclusive AD20.5 3v Tanto with LynchNW deep carry clip and the Kizer & Damned Designs Mad Tanto! Thanks homie!
The trek lock was started with Yue and Kizer. As this is a Yue design (Vosteeds Owner) it's a trek lock, this is where it started when he was still with Kizer
Great review bro! Kizer is killing it right now. It seems like i give them most of my income lately 😅. I have a pile of them and this is one is of my favorites. It really suprised me its action is so smooth and all the deployment options all work great and are very satisfying. I have spine wacked the hell out of mine and it hasn't failed either. This one looks good too! Most versions besides the ti model were not very appealing to me but this green frag is nice.( alot of my carry guns wear green frag grips so it matches for me) I hope they make a vanguard cormorant XL . I would really love it if it had another half inch or so of blade anyways thanks for the content bro !🙏
This one is definitely on my list. They keep getting me with those killer flash sales so I rarely end up getting a new model. 😆 Hey if that’s not true frag what is? Do the little squares have to have the corners knocked off?
Man idk I had a few people complain and tell me that stuff I called frag wasn't frag at all and it's the same pattern on this one 😂 the Internet is a cess pool of lose lose situations
If they were to put these scales on their s35vn version, they would have killed it from the start. Love that I got that version for $60, but all those goofy kizer models with the white outlines/pattern, just look Goofy.

Literally 🤣
Pretty cool! Great video brother 👍
Thanks Jeremy

@@jhall_edc they are very versatile and innovative. Got to give them that. I'll be doing a live with them Wednesday

The original one was definitely not up to snuff. I think they have honed in on it this one is solid 🪨🪨
Hahaha that Ghostbusters hank is almost as cool as the skull hank yesterday!
Hell yeah man 😎 thanks brother

Benchmade still thinks s30v is a premium steel…
Benchmade does use some different steels I'll give that but idk if they have used more then Kizer definitely not spydie.

other way around with the story of vosteed’s designer leaving kizer.
Yes a lot of that multi deployment stuff you saw from Kizer was vosteeds owner. He loves it and does it on as much as he can.
Love this one
Thanks brother 🙏🏻
wooooooooooo!!!
Thanks for the vid!
You bet!

yeaaaaaaaaaaa
I already own a kizer cormorant ti mr.Gweg
Do you have a photo of me though
@@GBall_Vision no... i don't want to scare the cats. 🙀
Blade shape is a little unusual but good budget steel. I dig all the different deployment methods. Pocket check: Para 3
Great carry and it's a unique looking knife but really acts like a drop point ☝🏻
Today it's a Buck 110 TRX, and a Kizer Carniferous V.
Great carry 🔥 just shot a video on unboxing the carnivorous
Trek Lock is Vosteed, but no worries!
The trek lock was started with Yue and Kizer. As this is a Yue design (Vosteeds Owner) it's a trek lock, this is where it started when he was still with Kizer
@GBall_Vision I didn't know that! Thanks for the info bro, I appreciate it!

Well, if that isn't a frag pattern, then I'm not sure what a frag pattern is. The Cormorant is not my kinda knife.👊🏼
Right 😂 thanks brother

Its Yue’s design so yeah, its the Trek-Lock. but officially named under Vosteed, i think.
also i think its been 2.5 years
Thanks brother I appreciate it 🤜🏻
Crkt m16 in da pocket. Funny enough I’m waiting for payday to pick this up. I think you’re a mind reader sir
😂😂 great carry 🔥🔥

I'm not a fan of the crazy patterns either
Do you like the 154cm or the s35vn version
The 154 is a huge value. S35VN is better though
Compression lock cormorant plz kizer
Agreed more compression locks loli
Launch 19.
I'm heavily looking at some Launch models
Not my cup O tea. Something about the blade shape turns me off. Not a hollow grind fan either. Good review though. Thanks G.
Thanks brother Tim 🤠
