It seems like their coverage played a more important role in getting those sacks than the rush itself, and they weren't playing ultra aggressive 6 or 7 man rushes, but instead blitzed smarter not harder
I enjoy the Steelers and started really following the Jaguars right around the draft two years ago. Man has it been interesting to see how far they've come and bittersweet to see them pretty much conpletely own Pittsburgh. Really great video, thanks very much. Jacksonville will be a force in this league for the next 5 years. Top 3 defense, all young guys. Star RB, solid receiving core, good o line. ALL young guys. If they can find a QB that even a slight upgrade from Bortles, this is a Super Bowl caliber team.

Do a video on how the Buccaneers defense is holding the players back from their full potential and hurting their team. (For example lining the CB’s 8 YDS off the ball every time, allowing a lot of cushion, and lining Vernon Hargreaves up on the outside instead of in the SLOT where he excels in press man)

Last video was "here's why Wentz is so great" and like 3 days later, Wentz has the greatest game of his life. Now, you make this Jax video, and hours later they trade for Marcell Dareus! Brett Kollman has the magic touch! Jax really going for the all-time sack record this year!
I loved their pick of Doug Marrone as the coach. It got even better when they brought Tom Coughlin into the fold. This Jags team might be legit in a couple of years with that duo. Man, couple that with a rising Titans team and the AFC South might mess around and be the next Power Conference.

Once teams start having cool defensive nicknames & that's productive, all of sudden the NFL changes the rules.
At 6:12 this is why I love football. As good as the playcall was and as well executed as it was, a superior quarterback would have made the hot read and hit the slot receiver on the skinny post as he gets reamed by Myles Jack. No one is unbeatable. Every playcall has weaknesses. Football is the ultimate team game and it's all about matchups. There are about 5-10 quarterbacks in the world that can get through their progressions and recognize where the zone blitz is coming from and identify the open receiver all in about the 2 seconds it took Myles Jack to get to Brissett. Crazy.

I loved this Jags D the moment I saw it on paper. People slept on them because the Jags have burned fantasy owners with their "on paper" defense years prior. But going into this season, I just couldnt find a weak point in their defense. People called me crazy for passing on the Cards and Vikings for the Jags on fantasy.
Just one point about the first Fowler vs the Haeg sack. It looks like Haeg was expecting a speed rush instead of the bull, you can kinda tell by his feet. You can liken this to him swinging for a curve-ball but getting a fast one.
This is the best series on TH-cam.

I was kind of hoping you would cover Jacksonville's pass coverage more. Their front seven is destroying the world, but Ramsey and Bouye are playing incredibly well in the secondary as well.

I’m a Jags fan, and to hear somebody else believe in my team like I do is awesome. My personal belief is we are 1 QB away from being a SB contender. I believe we will win the AFC South. And I also believe Fournette might be the best RB the NFL has seen in a very long time. For the first time in 8+ years I actually want to watch NFL football.

Success is always a good thing, but the Jags will have a tough decision to make on draft day if they continue to win. Do they trade
up to replace Blake Bortles, which would take a lot of resources, or do they trust him not to screw everything up by staying where they are and improve the O Line to help Fournette out?
Bortles is showing that he's an ehh QB at best. That COULD work for a defensive team that has a good running game, but the temptation to get something more, especially in a draft where there are thought to be a lot of good QB's.
With the Browns, and maybe 49ers needing receivers more than a QB while holding the first two picks it'll be an interesting draft day.
I was thinking that since the Browns and maybe niners need a receiver more they'd be able to trade down with their first picks, which would be very lucrative in a QB heavy draft. As for the QBs themselves I think Darnold is officially returning to college, and from what I've seen Rosen would be the only one worth a first round pick anyway. And the Redskins would be stupid to let a young QB go that's proven himself to be a good one. Even if that does mean getting rid of Josh Norman to save cap space.
The teams looking to trade up with the Browns would be the Cardinal since Palmer was considering retirement before he broke his arm, the Jets since McCown is too old to last long and may be having a fluke season currently, the Bills would like to replace Taylor though receiver may be more important to them, and the Jaguars could be tempted of course.
Four teams competing heavily for the first and even second draft pick should drive it's price up quite a bit and bring in a huge haul for teams that could likely get what they wanted later anyway.
He tore his ACL on the first day of minicamp his rookie year. This is basically his second year. He didn't develop slowly he lost a year.
I was laughed at during my draft this year for drafting the Jags D. Who's laughing now?!? And next year all my league mates will be killing themselves trying to draft the Jags early next year while I'll move on to another well scouted D.

The bills make turnovers and prevent touchdowns. I'd take their defense over Jacksonville so far. Not to knock Sacksonville though
Jack Vankouwenberg the Jags lead the league in interceptions too. They have blown out the Texans, Steelers, Ravens, and Colts.

The Jags just came off their best defensive game of the season, and the bills just came off their worst, so at this point the Jags allow less point than the bills.
