Bob Joesuebill I guess we might as well keep it in the state. I have mad respect for the team and depth though. It's Saban and the fans I can't stand. Not saying you're one of them though. It's disgusting how good y'all are.
Ryan Stegall yeah I did didn't I but no I can say I definitely don't dislike Auburn they are a very good team this year and might give us some major issues
I don't ever comment on videos...but this is the first year I've really tried to pay attention to NFL games, and your videos make watching and trying to understand games 100x more fun. Keep up the great work.
I enjoy the Steelers and started really following the Jaguars right around the draft two years ago. Man has it been interesting to see how far they've come and bittersweet to see them pretty much conpletely own Pittsburgh. Really great video, thanks very much. And congrats on your upcoming marriage!
This is so much fun this year. After suffering through some bad years as a fan from the beginning. Love Coughlin coming back full circle. I rock my Ramsey Jersey with pride in New York. Those last few draft have been great. I've been preaching abot the D since last year. People are converting wholes sale now.
Appreciate the video! Longtime Jags fan here. Team finally doesn't suck! I hope we win the next 5 but knowing Bortles we'll choke some games away somehow. Congrats on getting hitched!
+Brett Kollman - Congrats on the marriage! And a nice breakdown of the Jags defense; they're riding that old-school formula of good power running and a tough, swarming, playmaking defense all the way to the division title (and beyond?...) this year.
@@nintendostyle3500 to be honest, it probably won’t. Not soon at least, they have a pretty shitty owner and they lack any real talent on offense. Not to mention their defense has been absolutely gutted compared to 2017.
Great videos! Very informative, in depth, and entertaining. It makes me watch games and analyze football play in a deeper way. Entertaining, informational, and educational!
It seems like their coverage played a more important role in getting those sacks than the rush itself, and they weren't playing ultra aggressive 6 or 7 man rushes, but instead blitzed smarter not harder
At 6:12 this is why I love football. As good as the playcall was and as well executed as it was, a superior quarterback would have made the hot read and hit the slot receiver on the skinny post as he gets reamed by Myles Jack. No one is unbeatable. Every playcall has weaknesses. Football is the ultimate team game and it's all about matchups. There are about 5-10 quarterbacks in the world that can get through their progressions and recognize where the zone blitz is coming from and identify the open receiver all in about the 2 seconds it took Myles Jack to get to Brissett. Crazy.
A Jameis Winston break down I think is sorely needed! The young kid is having a pretty damn good season so far despite the teams 2-4 record and I don't think the majority of people are seeing that!
Do a video on how the Buccaneers defense is holding the players back from their full potential and hurting their team. (For example lining the CB’s 8 YDS off the ball every time, allowing a lot of cushion, and lining Vernon Hargreaves up on the outside instead of in the SLOT where he excels in press man)
Fun in the sun Marshon Lattimore, Marcus Lattimore is a running back. I don't even know if he could be the best defensive rookie, we still have to see his fellow Buckeye play, Gareon Conley. Those 2 were the best corners in the nation for a reason.
Pat Pete has a longer time and has played well against all the top name wideouts. My guy Ramsey still hasn't played against Julio, Odell, dez Bryant but he will be the best corner in the game sooner then later. I just think it's gotta be done year after year to best considered the best at your position.
Jacksonville will be a force in this league for the next 5 years. Top 3 defense, all young guys. Star RB, solid receiving core, good o line. ALL young guys. If they can find a QB that even a slight upgrade from Bortles, this is a Super Bowl caliber team.
I loved their pick of Doug Marrone as the coach. It got even better when they brought Tom Coughlin into the fold. This Jags team might be legit in a couple of years with that duo. Man, couple that with a rising Titans team and the AFC South might mess around and be the next Power Conference.
The Jags just came off their best defensive game of the season, and the bills just came off their worst, so at this point the Jags allow less point than the bills.
Congratulations Brett, been a fan of your work for over a year now. Hope your new place suits you, and I hope the married life treats you well. P.S. I'd like another Chargers video if you could please?
I love Brett's videos. Does anybody know of any other youtubers with his style of dissecting NFL plays and showcasing a technical prowess of the sport?
Just one point about the first Fowler vs the Haeg sack. It looks like Haeg was expecting a speed rush instead of the bull, you can kinda tell by his feet. You can liken this to him swinging for a curve-ball but getting a fast one.
I’m a Jags fan, and to hear somebody else believe in my team like I do is awesome. My personal belief is we are 1 QB away from being a SB contender. I believe we will win the AFC South. And I also believe Fournette might be the best RB the NFL has seen in a very long time. For the first time in 8+ years I actually want to watch NFL football.
The changing of the guard is upon us, gone is the dominance of teams like Pittsburgh, New England and Green Bay, they'll still be elite as long as Brady Ben, and A Rod are still playing, but the influx of youth is tremendous, the tide is changing. From Carson Wentz becoming a superstar and Deshaun Watson surprising everyone, even JAX. Welcome to the New NFL folks, It's gonna be one hell of a ride. P.S. FLY EAGLES FLY
I loved this Jags D the moment I saw it on paper. People slept on them because the Jags have burned fantasy owners with their "on paper" defense years prior. But going into this season, I just couldnt find a weak point in their defense. People called me crazy for passing on the Cards and Vikings for the Jags on fantasy.
Success is always a good thing, but the Jags will have a tough decision to make on draft day if they continue to win. Do they trade up to replace Blake Bortles, which would take a lot of resources, or do they trust him not to screw everything up by staying where they are and improve the O Line to help Fournette out? Bortles is showing that he's an ehh QB at best. That COULD work for a defensive team that has a good running game, but the temptation to get something more, especially in a draft where there are thought to be a lot of good QB's. With the Browns, and maybe 49ers needing receivers more than a QB while holding the first two picks it'll be an interesting draft day.
I was thinking that since the Browns and maybe niners need a receiver more they'd be able to trade down with their first picks, which would be very lucrative in a QB heavy draft. As for the QBs themselves I think Darnold is officially returning to college, and from what I've seen Rosen would be the only one worth a first round pick anyway. And the Redskins would be stupid to let a young QB go that's proven himself to be a good one. Even if that does mean getting rid of Josh Norman to save cap space. The teams looking to trade up with the Browns would be the Cardinal since Palmer was considering retirement before he broke his arm, the Jets since McCown is too old to last long and may be having a fluke season currently, the Bills would like to replace Taylor though receiver may be more important to them, and the Jaguars could be tempted of course. Four teams competing heavily for the first and even second draft pick should drive it's price up quite a bit and bring in a huge haul for teams that could likely get what they wanted later anyway.
"they went from the laughingstock of the league to laughing their way to blowout victories." and right back to the laughingstock of the league.
lmao
And on their way back up
I remember the days not too long ago when they got 10 sacks in a season, now they're getting that total in *games*
Zach once 😂😂😂😂
AugDuckScout twice...
3 times a lady?
No twice. Against the same team 😂
Rob Dawg they haven’t played an opponent twice dumbass
Had to watch it twice... and good on u bro for being a Houston fan doing a jags breakdown

Thanks Brett Much props for doing a Jags video, since you are a diehard Texans fan.
Thanks for the breakdown man. This team is something special and have been waiting to say that for the past nine years

I appreciate all the content you've uploaded I'm glad ppl outside of BRB can see your great analysis, also congratulations on getting married.
There's a surprisingly small amount of "this aged badly" comments

Twoface 99 not if Deandre Hopkins doesn't play cause the owner of the Texans is a dumbass

I FUCKING LOVE YOUR VIDEOS. YOU MAKE ME LOVE FOOTBALL EVEN MORE
Could you do a video on the Buffalo Bills' defense? I would be very interested to see your take on them
Daniel Hughson the definition of bend don't break
The bills make turnovers and prevent touchdowns. I'd take their defense over Jacksonville so far. Not to knock Sacksonville though
Jack Vankouwenberg the Jags lead the league in interceptions too. They have blown out the Texans, Steelers, Ravens, and Colts.
29-7, 44-7, 30-9, and 27-0 respectively
The Jags just came off their best defensive game of the season, and the bills just came off their worst, so at this point the Jags allow less point than the bills.
