Considering when these were tooled. Even the likes of Airfix did it better. Probably why FROG introduced the 'Spin' gimmick. FROG did do some very nice kits (Not including the reboxings). Some you can still buy today, under other Brand names.
Thanks for that. The kits can still be found for reasonable money, but the F20 motors are a lot harder and way more expensive. They can be salvaged from Dinky Die-casts, if you can find one that still has a motor in it.
I have the beaufort and JU 88 spin kits, along with about five or six sets of the original frog F20 motors, the exact same motors were also used in dinky die cast aircraft, and the original airfix 1/24 kits, as a bonus my JU 88 kit actually had two complete unbuilt kits in it. I always thought the third spin kit was their martin maryland, not the beaufighter, looks like I'll have to keep an eye on ebay for one!
Isn't there another line, like "Lindbergh", that had a tiny Motor to turn the propeller? I remember a friend of mine had a Corsair in 1/72, but the motor didn't work very well. I think it quit after a short time.😉
FROG kits weren't very diffused where I lived, it was a pity, because they covered a lot of aircrafts that Airfix didn't, and expecially for the Beaufort or the Spit Mk8, for a british brand, it was embarassing.
nice builds on these older clunkers!!!

I really enjoyed seeing these classic kits built up. Especially with the spinning props
Thanks for that.

@@NorthDevonModelSociety I do have a collection of dinky aircraft. I didn’t know it was the same motor. Thanks for that
@@grahamhurst4613 It's all part of sharing knowledge with all interested parties.
Frog models are underrated
Some were better than others. The models in this video are rather basic.

If I remember correctly. The Tamiya 1/48th Lancaster used the same motors.
If only engine/propeller sound effects were added.

The only Lindberg, motorised kit that I'm aware of is the awful HMS Hood.
