One of my favorite recordings of this, specifically because of the risks and and extremes they take with tempo, color, and dynamics. While some of the decisions are not what I would personally do or use, it makes me hear certain sections in a new light. I commend the ensemble on such a fresh and unified interpretation! Bravo!
Is Herr Durm playing a Vandoren mouthpiece? (Sounds great, whatever it is.) Some little-known saxophone music on my channel, should you be interested...
Use a S90 180. Damn near perfect Bari mouthpiece. I also have a S90 190 which is a little more open but the 180 really responds better in quartet work.
Hey there my name is Caleb Queen a am also a saxophonist and have a composed piece that is collecting dust that I haven't been able to get a solid group to play if you are interested please contact me thanks!

+rloomis3 Thanks! Yes, Vandoren T20. We will visit your channel!
This piece sounded great, though I thought the tempo had a bit too many changes in the first movement.
