August 28, 2022: "A Hope That Extends The Table" by Rev. Matthew Fillier

Last Sunday, Isaiah used the image of rebuilding the city of Jerusalem as a metaphor for also rebuilding the soul of society. This week, Jesus picks up his metaphorical hammer and chisel, and carves out an image of a table. Why build more walls when we can build a bigger table? A table where there is room for all? Jesus breaches the surface of the “way things are” with a transformative vision of how we can heal the soul of society and literally, feed our spirit with bread and wine that won’t fail. Join us as we reach out and touch the possibilities of how the Spirit is calling us to be a community of faith in 2022 and beyond!
