My local movie theatre is always busy. They took it out a couple of years ago to put something else in, and the backlash against them removing it was so strong that they put it right back in and found another place for the new business (I don’t remember what the business was though). My husband and I enjoy going there for date nights 😊❤️

I feel ya, Carson. I'm an old fart, so I go to the theater every Friday. More than once if I have some time off from work during the week. It's basically my 2nd living room. I just really enjoy the whole movie theater experience. Also, and this may just be my Gen X talking, but it seems to me that the younger generation is perfectly fine with "good enough." They're not looking for a great experience, just the "good enough" experience. Their tiny phone screen and $10 headphones are good enough, so why bother going to a theater? That sort of thing.
Once again our hero Carson falls victim to the dreaded Turdling Abusements. I hope things pick back up for the arcade community. I've been following a few of you for ages and it sucks this genre never rebounded after covid.
Reasons why people don’t go the movies like they used to: the price is crazy now unless bargain matinee, concessions are overpriced, streaming as you said, movies not being as good, and we have to spend more money on essentials like groceries (bidenomics).
