Fun comparison! I have WAY more Coach than Dooney, BUT, if someone said I had to pick one purse to have for the rest of my life, it'd probably be my Dooney Regular Florentine satchel in Natural, or my mini in Ivy. The thing I find with Dooney is, there isn't as much trend and excitement, but I will never tire of them. Also, the Florentine leather is unmatched IMO. Yes, it's nice to have a finished leather bag that looks sleek, but there is no question, you're getting the full hide with Dooney Florentine. I find the striations and graining absolutely beautiful. I feel like many of the contemporary bags have leather that is so processed that you could be easily fooled on what grain quality it really is. And the smell!

I love using mine with the half strap or the guitar strap that I got on Amazon ,I don’t find it to heavy as long as I don’t load it down with a lot of stuff ,but definitely not for someone with back or neck issues
Beautiful bags! I have the mini elephant, navy and ivy. I also have the small in natural. I agree, I would never go larger in this style because of the weight.

This is my favorite bag! I have the mini in navy and I have the micro in red arriving tomorrow. I had the red nano and it is the cutest thing ever, but I just couldn’t downsize that small. I love the colors offered in the regular size, but, I really don’t want to go up to that size. The mini is just a sweet spot!
Dooney red is delicious and I really want that in the micro, just to have one micro! Or the micro in ecru. Can't decide! Thanks for watching and enjoy your new one!
@@agentbagreviews Follow up on the red, micro satchel. I received it yesterday. It has a few, small, very minor scratches on it. They can probably be rubbed right out, but, there is a significant, 3" one, about 1/4" above the logo!! My eye is drawn to it every time! 😭 I have to send it back. I don't think they'll exchange it. I think it's out of stock anyway. I'll have to try again later. On a side note. I do like the little micro size. It's about 10" wide. For the Florentine satchel, this is probably the smallest functional size I can go. Shoot! So close!
Hi Yota! I would say so. If you want to keep the bag weight closer to the 2 pound mark. I do like the mouth opening of the mini more and the weight distribution may be better on the mini. Bag Hound did a great review between the micro and the mini!
I have yet to see these satchels in person so this comparison was very helpful! I want one but I haven’t been able to decide on whether the mini or micro will work better. Because I need the option to wear all my bags as crossbody, I will go with the micro. TFS ❤❤
A review of the mini vs the micro would be awesome! Also, if you can remember, possibly places both bags against one of the Marc Jacobs small tote bags would be really helpful! ❤❤
I have 2 regulars, in black and in a dark grey, which I rarely see. My mini is in natural. I love the extra room in the regulars, but they are a bit heavy. With my mini, I find that I have to carry a bit less. I think the Florentine satchel is one of the most well- made bags ever.

I just wish you do this video earlier, I found a almost brand new regular satchel in natural on eBay and I am in love with the florentine leather even though I never see any DB bag in Europe. She is on her way. It seems to me that the quality of DB bags are similar to my vintage Coach bags, am I right? Thank you for the review.

They are about 1-2” in width difference! I love my minis but don’t own a micro. That bag is next and I’ll compare the two
