Unfortunately there are ppl locked up for something they did not do. Yes our judicial system needs to be over hauled in a bad way. The police, and anyone else involved in unjustified jailing or prison need to be thrown in prison themselves.

There’s all kinds of crazy stuff going on, not only the police but our government. They’re just destroying burial mounds and Native American sites anyway they can while we’re all locked in our houses being scared of Covid.

Marty and Valentino you both are truly amazingly strong and awesome men. I want to see tge change where the justice system completely repaired and wish I could help. My hometown has 2 books rotten to the core 1 and 2 and let me tell you all the corruption there is still going on they covered and lied about my mom's murder. Picked me up and changed w a bs charge that was thankfully on video and yet still no changes there. Prayers love and light

Problem with wrongful convictions range from poor police investigations, false confessions, outright prosecutorial misconduct, and more. Unfortunately, we just don't seem to want to deal with this kind of problems with our criminal justice system.

Ending immunity for cops, DAs, most government employees would be a big step forward.
As would barring parole/probation boards of review from insisting on "confessions" from inmates who assert innocence.
These are reasonable, actionable steps that safeguard our rights while maintaining rule of law.

That is so messed up I hope that he’s got a constitution Lawyer so that he could take these issues rightfully to the supreme court to make sure that he gets lovely compensation as well as make laws that wall change law-enforcement accountability when they don’t follow the handbook by the federal Government Congress good law-enforcement know it’s OK to admit when you’re wrong because they know that mistakes are lessons that you learn from to become better employees of their community🇺🇸🤔💯

I think it’s the police that don’t want to work too hard on a case, if they can actually get them to confess. And once the prosecution decided to take the case and then they hear about a possible alibi, they will do whatever it takes to get a motion to suppress. I think that is criminal. They are monsters. It’s not about justice. It’s a chess game to them.

    • @hiphopangel77

You're right. People don't understand that. They blindly believe in the system. The system is set up to get convictions no matter what. They get false confessions, false eyewitness testimony, keep you in jail til you are tired of fighting it and just give in to them, and they pay informants to lie. The system re-victimized me after years of dealing with abuse from a boyfriend and on top of that I had a stalker who made my life miserable since I was 12 years old. I was 21 and trusted the system. They even stack bogus charges they make up just to ensure you get some kind of time. Doesn't matter if they leave a murderer, rapist, or child molester on the street an innocent person is easy to convict. Manipulation and scare tactics is the only work they need to do for that. So much easier than doing their jobs and investigating.

@@paulalane2176 Thank you. Everything that has happened to me only made me stronger and as far as the system goes what they did was make me fight for people they do this to. I live with PTSD now, but you have to deal with it and help others through it
