It is very heartwarming when people you admire, prove themselves to be everything you could only dream of,and more. I hate false modesty, but Phoebe and Vicky are the real deal and Their modesty is Genuine, which seems crazy, because They are both so Talented. Their Friendship is so beautiful to witness. Fleabag is my new favourite program. After watching this,it becomes even more obvious, what a Great Actor Phoebe is. She has no similarities at all to Her Creation. It is brave and Fearless Comedy. That takes guts. I predict many more Awards, for Years to come.Thank You for blowing my mind.

Loved watching this! Hearing the beginnings and what took them to where they are… just makes me want to visit the theatre!

I love Fleabag! I’ve watched both seasons twice and starting on the 3rd time with my mom. I want to add on the question about why the show speaks to the audience. The protagonist and her inner thoughts toward the camera is just really relatable for me. I think the dark side of her probably lives a bit in everyone, although people sometimes don’t admit it. I can feel the kind of void in the heart just like Fleabag does, from time to time. And seeing her speak to the camera her streams of thoughts is really really cathartic. And the ending of season 2 gave me an epiphany. I was in a rut when I watched it. Felt very lonely. Not very healthy mentally. The way Fleabag waves to the camera and goes on walking by herself makes me think. The idea of being able to walk by oneself speaks to me. It gives me courage to continue living the life in my way, not focusing on how life isn’t perfect. I mean, Fleabag’s life never changed completely even in the end. But perspectives can change. And despite everything, Fleabag is funny!

Finally! I've watched a few interviews about Fleabag but a lot of them just focus on the TV show and the success. It's nice to hear about the long journey Phoebe and Vicky went on to finally realise their dream and how they stuck by each other. Especially how they felt dejected about the state of the industry and how they struck out on their own against all odds. Well done to the interviewer!

I also made this parallel with Helen Fielding's work, but it has nothing to do with gender. Fleabag's protagonist definitely has some character traits that Bridget has. That might be personal bias, that exaggerates the similarities for me, but... They are different too, and much more so than they're similar, but yes, I definitely see some common traits.

How can your job be to represent gender equality in theatre if the part requires a women hire a women and likewise a man. Where are the theatres where this not the case. The women sitting on the far right is in fact far left. I love fleebag thoe 10 out of 10.
