Love looking at other thrift shops in other states. Here in California everything is way overpriced. It use to be so fun to go thrifting. Now, I leave 80% of things I like on the shelves. I almost jumped through the screen when you showed a small copper candelabra! It would be so pretty in the fall with some vintage velvet pumpkins and tiny candles.

my wife adds: Great video and presentation. There is one thing I would like to add about farmhouse style. I've known many farmer's wives and they all to a person just really wanted to replace old worn out things with newer and nicer things as they could afford them. The distressed items represented poverty, not happiness.
You can also flip the lip upside down, place it in the small bowl, and then you have a punch bowl. Growing up, my best friend’s mom always had that punch bowl at parties

What fun finds at the thrift store. I've never seen anything like the cake stand, server set. Love candlestick holders with finger loop. My folks had one when I was very young. That antique store is amazing.

Your cake stand can be used as a punch bowl. I have a glass one and you turn the lid upside down and place in the little bowl. I don't know if that would work for a plastic one or not. But you could give it a try to see if it stays balanced.

Thanks for taking us along! I'd be careful using authentically old painted tables for preparing/serving/eating food with the possibility of lead paint.
Are you not styling at the thrift store you used to work part time at? I always enjoyed the content of home decor and clothing.
I’m not anymore 🙂 I stopped working there last fall. It was a lot of fun though!
If you are a collector like me you do not care so much about the price. The most I paid was 150 dollars for antique CMAS ornaments. Resellers are the people who mostly do not spend big. I never ever bid on an item tho. Not worth the money or value.
Also, I bought lamps and Antique chairs for 150 dollars. I have a home full of vintage, antique and unique.
My thrift stores sell overpriced junk, sadly.
Sometimes that happens and it’s so unfortunate 😩
