Great video and so easy to follow. My only question is when you put the second lace through the second hole (when it goes back inside the sneaker), and same with the 4th lace and its 2nd hole, do you cross underneath or over the top of the first lace (or third lace) that's already in position - or doesn't it make a difference?

Tucking it under feels uncomfortable but it looks real clean

Sometimes I tuck them under the sole if the laces are long enough. If its glued down just try to lift enough of each side to put it under.

sometimes but I did mine a little loose so that the tucking won’t hurt

what we always did was to pull the laces from the inside, tie the lace in a knot as close to the eyelet as possible, and snip off the excess, new strings are $1

On my original Vans non-old School I did this it was great on my old school because things slip off my feet I need to put it through that top hole but it's okay it still looks good
