*Just a quick clarification! The Kokie Foaming Micellar product isn't really a cleanser...I'm not sure if I articulated it well in the video. It comes out like a foam but then quickly turns into a Micellar water on your skin, so it doesn't really lather up. I think the foam is basically more convenient than a Micellar water because you don't need to put it on a cotton pad, you can apply it with your hands. But it's basically a makeup remover, rather than a cleanser. It does remove your makeup but if you want a more "deep clean", you may want to use a regular cleanser afterwards. :)
I would love a series on your favorite eyeshadow palettes for each color story like cool tones, purple, pink, bronze, colorful, jewel tones…I’m selfishly wanting the best of the best rosy tones lol

I really like the LA Girl shadow sticks, I'll have to pick them up, I love using these types of sticks for a quick eye look. The bronzer looks good too. The Moira palettes look stunning, I'm liking the Endless Moonlight one, those colors are gorgeous.

Kokie never disappoints, in fact always exceeds expectations with a wow. Have you found their makeup in Rite Aid? I only found it in California; do they sell in New England finally? Lisa Eldridge did a video about removing eyemakeup and false lashes, and she basically did the same thing with round cotton eyelids and Bioderma, the best micellar water, sold in Europe, and I think you can get it here now. She soaked 2 half pads under her eyes and a full round one over each eye and just wiggled a bit for a while, and like magic, EVERYTHING came off. I couldn't believe it til I tried it myself.
Yes we've had Kokie in Rite Aid here in Connecticut for several years now but for some reason they never update the display. It seems like the newer stuff doesn't make it there, I'm not sure why. 🤔
Bioderma is the only thing I’ve used for years to remove my eye makeup, just like you said comes right off, I put the cotton pad over my eye wait about 10 seconds and it removes all my eye makeup and does not burn or give you that haze in your eyes.💖

Aw thank you Susan! It is definitely good to get away and I always make it a point not to stress myself out trying to create content to post while I'm gone. I know a lot of TH-camrs do that, but I feel like it's not really a break then, and I get MORE stressed out trying to pack for my vacation and film extra videos. I used to do that and bring my computer with me to post during the trip and it didn't feel like a vacation anymore. I decided to treat this like a real job and just forget about work while I'm there, haha!
Jen - I am a la girl junkie but I got lunar beauty nude prism in my boxy and I am convinced that it is the same as this la girl ( plus I can’t really afford a new palette at the moment ) . Interesting that if you go to dollar Tree you can find LA Colors cream gel Blush’s ( I have the shades Tainted love and Adorned-super pigmented!) and at Dollar General they have the Blush up ones. I only seen 3 shades in store one was sold out but I also have marvelous and nude glow. Maybe they reformulated?

The typical LA Girl crumbly shimmer swatch is how the Flower Jungle Lights palette performs on me! I wish it looked on my eyes like it does on yours. That swatch totally reminded me of that palette
Yeah the Flower ones can be like that too, but I don't mind it as much...I just try not to press into them too hard and it helps to swatch them on the back of my hand first and take off some of the excess before applying to my eyes. :)

When you first had it done and it was grayish and you didn't seem to like it, I told you that the toner would wash out and you would like it more! It really has settled into such a pretty shade- so flattering on you!

LA Colors is like really stepping up their game. It was always that cheap makeup that looked pretty, but was pretty bad. No pigment, chalky, trash. But it was like a few dollars and that mentality of you pay for what you get, but recently I saw this palette for $5 bucks and I was reluctant to buy it because I remember from the past, but now I use it almost daily, and bought a few more that were just as good. Then I got a highlight, a few lip products, the brow pencil is now holy grail for me and was way under $20. I'm like, where was this game when I was a poor and hungry girl in college??? Ha ha! But they really have stepped it up and I'm here for it.
Ok do not sleep on the Moira fiinishing powders. So so good. Makes my skin feel like velvet, looks like nothing is on my skin. So easy and so pretty. Love the way my skin looks and feels. Too good. And I got the first two colors. They both work and I am Jens skin tone. Gotta check out the new kokie products. Hi Jen - I really love your tutorials and how you present them. I have a little problem though because I absolutely won't wear shimmers in my eye makeup. I have very dry skin on my whole face. I know you have combination skin but I'm only interested in dry skin. I know you have to show both types of skin on your tutorials. My favorite is drugstore lines, Plus I'm not objecting at all higher prices - high end. I will not order online so they have to be in store or drugstore. Don't get me wrong but that's just me and my skin. You do a really nice job in your videos I love to watch you. Thank you.

I have both and can't tell the difference between them (they both seem to go on clear) so I use whatever one I can grab first. 100 has a little green in it to correct redness, but I don't think it makes that big of a difference since it's so light. I mainly use them to smooth out my skin. 🥰
Jen! Just popping in to let you know that I got the rower that you recommended and I LOVE IT! So easy to assemble and takes so little space. It is very easy to put out of the way when not using. At first, I thought it wasn’t going to get my heart rate up enough, but after about 10 minutes on level 6 moving at a good clip, my heart rate was at 130, which is perfect for me at my age. Low impact exercise and my back doesn’t hurt when I work out, either. I wasn’t sore at all today but still can feel a very very slight tightness in the back of my arms and thighs, so I feel like this won’t bulk up my muscles and will only tone. Such a simple but elegant little machine. It feels sturdy and it will last forever. Some things just don’t need to be high tech, you know? Thanks!

I thought the same thing when I first tried it, I didn't think it was going to be difficult enough but if I crank up the resistance after a few minutes it really gets my heart going. :) It's a nice cardio workout with a little muscle toning.

You look GREAT in the peach tones of your makeup and shirt! I wish I could get Koki in Canada but I haven’t seen it anywhere….the micellar cleansing products sound and look fantastic.
OK, I'm SO grateful Kokie came out with those amazing pads and micellar removers, because I'm not the biggest fan of cleansing balms/oils; even though they work super well at makeup breakdown, I just hate the feeling of greasiness (I even put on gloves to apply it and work it in, that's how much I abhor the oily feel). I also put off wearing makeup because I know the removal process will be quite a chore, and I'm tired after a hectic day at work or running errands. These Kokie products look right up my alley in terms of being super effective and fast AND non-greasy.
Ohhh 😍 lavender!! That looks nice. I have a lavender tone up base from HINCE that works great. But a powder is neat too. Sometimes just adding a bit more cool tone to your face products will make cool tone eyes or lips pop better
Those LA Colors blush look exactly the same as the LA Girl Soft Matte Cream blushes. They are sister companies so it makes sense they have similar formulas.

Just so everyone knows the kokie cleansing pads are sold out for now. I was able to get the micellar water and foam still. I would jump on those though. Probably going to sell out too.
Girl, you got me hooked on the Kokie Lip and Eye liners and I was on their site last month buying a couple replacements (I need several backups of warm nude lip liner, lol) and I put the Micellar foam into my cart since it was new. It's such a cool and innovative product and I'm happy to see it getting from love on YT. It melts my makeup right off sooo easily and then I just follow up with another cleanser.
I finally made my first Kokie purchase. I got the foam and cleansing wipe (for an upcoming vacation) two of the gradient blushes I have been dying to try and some nail polish too! I need to get Off TH-cam now so I don’t spend any more money haha 😆
It's so interesting because it's not even really a cleanser in the traditional sense. I put the foam on and it doesn't really foam up, if anything it fizzes and turns to a water, taking the makeup off with it. I don't even have time to massage it into my face like a normal cleanser, haha! It's like magic.

But it was like a few dollars and that mentality of you pay for what you get, but recently I saw this palette for $5 bucks and I was reluctant to buy it because I remember from the past, but now I use it almost daily, and bought a few more that were just as good. Then I got a highlight, a few lip products, the brow pencil is now holy grail for me and was way under $20. I'm like, where was this game when I was a poor and hungry girl in college??? Ha ha! But they really have stepped it up and I'm here for it.

Ok do not sleep on the Moira fiinishing powders. So so good. Makes my skin feel like velvet, looks like nothing is on my skin. So easy and so pretty. Love the way my skin looks and feels. Too good. And I got the first two colors. They both work and I am Jens skin tone.

Hi Jen - I really love your tutorials and how you present them. I have a little problem though because I absolutely won't wear shimmers in my eye makeup. I have very dry skin on my whole face. I know you have combination skin but I'm only interested in dry skin. I know you have to show both types of skin on your tutorials. My favorite is drugstore lines, Plus I'm not objecting at all higher prices - high end. I will not order online so they have to be in store or drugstore. Don't get me wrong but that's just me and my skin. You do a really nice job in your videos I love to watch you. Thank you.

I have both and can't tell the difference between them (they both seem to go on clear) so I use whatever one I can grab first. 100 has a little green in it to correct redness, but I don't think it makes that big of a difference since it's so light. I mainly use them to smooth out my skin. 🥰
Jen! Just popping in to let you know that I got the rower that you recommended and I LOVE IT! So easy to assemble and takes so little space. It is very easy to put out of the way when not using. At first, I thought it wasn’t going to get my heart rate up enough, but after about 10 minutes on level 6 moving at a good clip, my heart rate was at 130, which is perfect for me at my age. Low impact exercise and my back doesn’t hurt when I work out, either. I wasn’t sore at all today but still can feel a very very slight tightness in the back of my arms and thighs, so I feel like this won’t bulk up my muscles and will only tone. Such a simple but elegant little machine. It feels sturdy and it will last forever. Some things just don’t need to be high tech, you know? Thanks!

I thought the same thing when I first tried it, I didn't think it was going to be difficult enough but if I crank up the resistance after a few minutes it really gets my heart going. :) It's a nice cardio workout with a little muscle toning.

I wish I could get Koki in Canada but I haven’t seen it anywhere….the micellar cleansing products sound and look fantastic.
OK, I'm SO grateful Kokie came out with those amazing pads and micellar removers, because I'm not the biggest fan of cleansing balms/oils; even though they work super well at makeup breakdown, I just hate the feeling of greasiness (I even put on gloves to apply it and work it in, that's how much I abhor the oily feel). I also put off wearing makeup because I know the removal process will be quite a chore, and I'm tired after a hectic day at work or running errands. These Kokie products look right up my alley in terms of being super effective and fast AND non-greasy.
I don't like greasy stuff either! The foam is great because it doesn't leave any kind of film at all!
Ohhh 😍 lavender!! That looks nice. I have a lavender tone up base from HINCE that works great. But a powder is neat too. Sometimes just adding a bit more cool tone to your face products will make cool tone eyes or lips pop better

Those LA Colors blush look exactly the same as the LA Girl Soft Matte Cream blushes. They are sister companies so it makes sense they have similar formulas.
They are pretty similar but the LA Girl ones are a little bit more matte and mousse-y while the LA Colors ones are just slightly more dewy.

Girl, you got me hooked on the Kokie Lip and Eye liners and I was on their site last month buying a couple replacements (I need several backups of warm nude lip liner, lol) and I put the Micellar foam into my cart since it was new. It's such a cool and innovative product and I'm happy to see it getting from love on YT. It melts my makeup right off sooo easily and then I just follow up with another cleanser.
It's amazing isn't it?! Also Warm Nude is one of my favorite lip liner shades too!

I finally made my first Kokie purchase. I got the foam and cleansing wipe (for an upcoming vacation) two of the gradient blushes I have been dying to try and some nail polish too! I need to get Off TH-cam now so I don’t spend any more money haha 😆
It's so interesting because it's not even really a cleanser in the traditional sense. I put the foam on and it doesn't really foam up, if anything it fizzes and turns to a water, taking the makeup off with it. I don't even have time to massage it into my face like a normal cleanser, haha! It's like magic.
