@@Decoy303 I like Metalheadz especially the newish stuff like what Grey Code is doing but I still think the old school Penetration sound is more tuneful and unique to the time. It all depends what you grew up with I suppose.
@jameshall2195 I'm 43. I cut my teeth on stuff like Psion "Tyrant ", Uncle 22 "No Way", Die "Reminisce/Clear Skyz, Dylan "Blackout", etc. I could go on. I was a Breakbeat Science junkie; buying tunes via net and chillin' in their forums. I mean we had The Best of music from '96 to about '00. After that drum and bass forgot how to be drum and bass and it was all about the next new trend such as imitating BCUK, clownstep, and that horrible nu skool jump up made by people like Generation Dub. Not gonna lie... some really good tunes were made by acts like that but much was just rehash after rehash. Metalheadz is the one label that has stayed true to the craft and pushing out consistency. Not everything my cup of tea but that's just life. You might like Birds by Blocks & Escher. Heavy and nostalgic.
2nd rinse is so hard. Effects built into the track made this a weapon in the record case.
well said
The wolfman changing the game before it even started. Classic darkside, feel old saying "they don't make them like that anymore" .
Check out Blocks & Escher's Bird. Why? Because they still make them. Just gotta keep your ear to the ground.

@@jameshall2195 Check these tunes: Code 906 - Demonic Rebuttal , Malign - Lock up and Paragon - Lowlife (as well as Last in Line, again by Paragon).
