I watched this band open up for the Outlaws at the Newton Theater in NJ. I am a 53 year old man who grew up listening to the best Rock bands ever. I can' stomach the majority of todays crap music.. But i have to tell you these young pups were so impressive. They rocked it out. The singer has a beautiful voice and plays a nasty guitar. I was fortunate enough to speak to them in the lobby and I purchased 3 of there cd's. Best money I ever spend. At least 10 great songs. Look out because these guys are on the way to the top. They are awesome and crazy talented. Best new band I've heard in a long time.
Ha! Right there with ya Mark! I just saw them open for Outlaws in my home town (Carlisle Pa.) Was absolutely AMAZED!! Such talent that we do not see anymore. Could not agree more with you. Just hope they get a major recording deal, They deserve it!
I am in my fifties too! We must know Classic Rock when we see it! I am in love with the sound of the Steppin Stones! Check out The Steep Water Band out of Chicago too I saw them this past summer.
The song got everything from the finest: catching strong melody, intesive vocal, fat crunchy guitar sound, nasty riffs, surprising guitar solo, drive and ....... final climax. The product from THE talent. It's perfect! The Hit. BTW, the whole band is used to play live on a stage dynamically and self-confidently as hell. It was the pure enjoyment to see them a few days ago (here in our old Europe :-)). It is more than 100% worthwile to spend 1,5 hour of the life together with badass Steppin' Stones live!

Vocals at the beginning are hauntingly Beautiful (intensity-?) and then the guitar riff a minute in is WOW! Special song!
