The only lipsticks I own are four Besame lipsticks... and I have maybe three backups of Victory Red. I wear it every day and have used three or four bullets completely up. So it was hilarious/shocking to hear you didn't care much for the Snow White lipstick, lol. Love these declutters, thank you for sharing. :)
You did well to declutter as many as you did. For the Pat McGrath ones, it might be the wax finding its way to the outside of the product and settling down as a white cast.
I’m with you on liquid lippies; I jumped on the bandwagon a few years ago, but the past year I’ve just fallen out of love with them. I’m using up what I have, and not buying any new ones.
Same here. I am a bullet lipstick girl at heart. I love a liquid lip for longevity so on days where I know I need something that is bulletproof, I will whip them out, but other than that I have fallen out of love with them.
My mini Pat McGrath lippies from that same set also have that white frosty looking stuff. I was worried myself but I had just bought them and they were a new product so I assumed it was ok to use..? I feel like the Sephora comments in the review section of the product had some people mentioning it as well.
Lipsticks are very easy to sanitize with alcohol, so you could definitely pass them on to friends and family if they're not expired. No need for waste!
If that's the case, then there are tons of recycling programs that take old makeup and empty makeup packaging.. Check out TerraCycle, they have tons of options!
hi , i have been through three charlotte tilbury The Duchess shade , in a year its a bullet lipstick as i cant get on with liquid lipsticks so i dont own any , but all my nudes are charlotte tilbury , plus the three shades of pillow talk which are the original , medium , dark , my other collection is estee lauder all different shades of pink , but only one red mac ruby whoo , as i only wear it at christmas . but i do love charlotte tilbury collagen lip bath i have two shades my lips are really moist and smooth i am going to get another shade as i love then so much .
I’m DYING to open the bar code sticker off your drugstore lipsticks.....ahhhhhhh! 😂🙄 how crazy is that? Lol (yes, I’m getting on my own nerves at this point)
If you mean peeling those off: I keep them on as they always leave behind a sticky residue which means all your lipsticks stick together and get gross over time. It is not pretty but I leave them on to keep them looking neat.

Thanks for your input! They came like this from the packaging so I know it can't be mold else that would be a shame for such an expensive lipstick.

There is always the risk of my decluttering someone's favorite product. Luckily we are all different and like different things.

Yeah mine have had it since day 1. So I guess it's fine. It's just that for such a high end brand, you wouldn't expect a product to do this.

Many of these are super old. Not sanitary, not even if I were to use alcohol on them.

Well it's the only way to tell if lipsticks go bad so sorry it was annoying.
