I am absolutely appalled at how few numbers there are in the like/dislike area, the subscriber count, and the views! This video, in my opinion, meets well over standards and is a grade-A educational video about (my favorite thing to learn) HISTORY! I learned so much from this video. But seriously, plus one on the sub count. :)
Napoleon - Since he reacquired the Louisiana Territory in 1800 and sold it to the United States in 1803 that means he was the ruler of "Americans" for about 3 years. Not "United States citizens" but they were still "Americans". Fascinating.
10:19 it makes you look as if you had no idea what you're talking about if you compare Napoleon to Stalin or Castro, whose rule was in fact better for the French people than Bourbons eventhough he made himself the emperor
Exactly. To say Napoleon was a dictator... When, as one of the greatest men of mankind, he raised tens of thousands frenchmen to fight for the revolution ideal to survive, against an europe still ruled by monarchs. He did legate us so many great things that to this day still exist, the institutions for our Republic, and foremost, the Civil Code. He had his shadow parts. As any of us has. To label that "being a dictator", is to be unaware of human condition and aspiration. Some of us still want to live great things and await to be led by great men. And I wont even talk about the comparison between Napoleon and leaders who were motivated by communism such as Stalin...
I switched your video off the moment I saw the map you were using of countries that did not even EXIST in the time of Napoleon- could you not use a map of the empires of the time? Italy, the netherlands, Germany etc all did not even exist back then.
This video is atrocious and poorly put together from wrong maps, wrong dates, missing massive parts of Napoleons life and just false information. Such as he says the French fought the British at Borodino which is completely false they fought the Russians Britain had nothing to do with it also why would Britain get involved if they were fighting the Americans at the time. Poor video
@Mwaniki Mwaniki oh just realised now! I was thrown off by the mention of war on Egypt but the image of India and the Indian flag were to do with cutting off the trade routes that is mentioned straight after.
Sorry, buddy. This period of history is very complicated. Even for a 10-minute version, this is awful. You leave out so much and what remains is misleading.
Great video about Napoleon as it was Short and to the point.
You made another funny..
Ha ha ha
I have oral history exam tomorrow, this helped a lot!
I couldn't believe you only have this many subscribers, as good as any other high-profile history Channel
I enjoyed the video, but that constantly changing orange background color made it almost impossible to watch.
Made me literally sick. I really wanted to watch but that was so awful I couldn’t get through the video.
It is idiotic
Oh, well, there is nothing we can do
@@badfellow622no... you are idiotic
@@lesliet.4672you too actually, "made me sick"

@@rtxOrca Don't tell him, dude.
This was epic. Never knew much about napoleon until i stumbled on a YT vid. Awesome
Well done. Hard to summarize a man of this importance and complexity in only 10 minutes.
A nice refresher before I watch the film.
By the way the movie fell flat and this was much better use of my time. Kudos to you

It’s a poor video at best

Then you learned that the British were engaged by Napoleon at Borodino so you are now dumber than you were before you watched this.

thanks helped a lot on my essay
I'm only here for assassins creed unity
Perfect video.
Pronunciations are poor but the information is accurate. Good length.
my assignment is due in 2 hours thanks so much!
Bannerlord when you start conquering everything then face a slightly larger force

I am from Poland and we cult him there, he tried to make independent Polish country
Plus, Napoleon was not in the business of exterminating the citizens of conquered territory on an industrial scale.
Great spfx!
Great video, thank you very much , note to self(nts) watched all of it 10:35
Napoleon was a beast
But why? Why did he invade Austria and Germany?
Thank you for sharing!
imagine du musst den film während dem online unterricht schaun weil dein lehrer es sagt
Why did they kill Augustin and maximillian?
Great video thanks. I hope more people "like" it
7:23 the french Engaged the British at the battle of Borodino? What?
Lol it was Russians and french typical american who knows nothing about war
Also mispronounced Jacobin and Leipzig.
@@nancykuebler7847 Robespierre or Amiens too
Thanks for making this amazing video! Much appreciated!
In 1812 the capital of Russia was Saint Petersburg, not Moscow.
Doesn't show Napoleon's accomplishments in such a short space of time
Brilliant
i enjoyed but what is the very epic and serious music at the beginning i hear it everywhere?
Imagine saying Napoleon wasn’t a change on Louis XVI. Remind me which ones legal code is still in use in France 200 years later
where did you get your info?? wikipedia???
Thanks
Awesome...
You forget to say that Napoleon was elected emperor. There were a referendum.
in my universe this happened very diferently
7:21 - British in battle of Borodino???
Somehow these small yet massive inaccuracies ruin the entire video.
On August 1769?
This would be interesting but the flashing light color backgrounds are horribly distracting and trigger migraines. Otherwise would be good.
I don't think you're saying jacobin right
Great video what song started playing at 9:38

Napoleon was a sigma
Should we really use the words bourgeoisie and the proletariat? I thought it was more liberal society supporters vs monarchy and aristocracy.
Thank you for mentioning the dark side of this character. There is a dogma build around him in my country, it is very scary.

I mostly can’t stand how he said the French Engaged the British at the battle of Borodino. How the hell did he get that mixed up?????
Napoleon was a good person😜😜
Thank you 4 the video.👍

He also pronounces Borodino "Borodinah" and says Moscow was the Russian capital at the time
The Egypt bit near the start had the Indian flag and the country instead of Egypt.
@Mwaniki Mwaniki oh just realised now! I was thrown off by the mention of war on Egypt but the image of India and the Indian flag were to do with cutting off the trade routes that is mentioned straight after.
Encrypted? Think you meant to say "entombed."
Hi mam
Like si tu profe de inglés te mandó esto xd
Bro, your pronunciation is killing me. Also, that's the Indian flag, not Egyptian.
His pronunciation hurts my ears and it was supposed to be an Indian flag, he mentioned invading Egypt in order to cut the British access to India
Many incorrect pronunciations
yes Napoleon was an hebrew and king james who got over taken by the roman army
ruined a good video with the seizure inducing background. reported the video.

It's fake don't watch
That ending was fucking cringe. Stalin was a hero.
