I'm so glad you're able to keep it and build it back up to even better than before. Can't wait to see that exhaust go on and the new wheels. As for thoughts on color, I do really like that kinda not exactly black color that it is but maybe go for a more graphite grey, always been a fan of that. Keep up the great videos, can't wait for more :P

Last time I was hit by someone, my insurance company gave me a rental right away even though I told them I didn't really need it. They said that if I get a rental right away, it get's them to look at the car in a hurry so they don't have to pay for the rental for as long. Sure enough, they came to look at the car 2 days later. Good to see you are getting the car back. Equipment these days are way better than back in the day when people would pray something like that would get totaled. It'll be good as new.
you can just tick the "modified" box on your car insurance and list all the aftermarket parts my children. your premiums will certainly go up which is why lots of people don't check it

No r34 colors are rare now. Over the years many people have been repainting their cars in those "rare" colors. There's a parking lot near where i live that has a row of midnight purple cars.
Glad the WRX is getting fixed, personally I like the Dark Metallic Grey, you don't see that color mush on you tube, and that the same color of mine. There are a lot of blue, white and red WRXs, painting it that color, you would just blend into the background with the rest of them.

It's never happened to me, but I have heard numerous times that a wrecked car where there is frame damage, never seems to drive the same. Especially the way you drive cars man. Hopefully it all gets sorted out and drives proper. One of my favorite WRX builds for sure.

Nstg8a I have to disagree, if there is frame damage at all, there is little to no chance that it will ever be in the exact location as oem, or be as strong. Idk if you have ever bent a paper clip, but if you try to bend it and then bend it back it is noticeably weaker. Idk id rather have it totaled at that point or just sell it as is and buy another car.

Blake's Garage that’s not true at all. Where did you get your facts from? Have you rebuilt a car that’s been wrecked before? Watch some channels on TH-cam about it. Just type in copart. Most of the cars come out better than OEM if done right.
My WRX is a rebuild and it runs perfectly, as long as you have the right shop working on it. It will run great, goodluck bro. Hope it’s done in no time 😍 Oh and WHITE is a must
Tony Castillo I had a similar experience like Dustin they didn’t cover the aftermarket parts I had on my car but they sent me a check that the parts were damage as if the car was “stock” to fix the car but you can use that check however you want so I’m assuming they’re doing something similar like what happened to me hopefully that made sense lol

Keep receipts of all aftermarket parts that are on the car, so in the case of an accident, you can show how much the parts cost. I had a friend buy a 240sx with a built 1j and it burnt to the ground. They were trying to give him about $1500 for the car, but he had all the receipts for parts and work and was able to get 10k.

Paint it Montego Blue. It's a Mazda RX-7 FD color, but I think it'd look good on this car. I love it so much. It's like a dark teal, but it's color-changing so it looks blue sometimes and like the more green side of teal sometimes..

awesome news! I'm a '15 CWP owner so slight bias, but the Evo is red and Type R is very dark. I'd go Ivory Pearl or White Pearl.
