今回は、ビーズステッチにおける「スパイラルロープ」という技法を用いたブレスレットの作り方をご紹介致しました。
スパイラルロープとは、軸となるビーズ（多くは丸大ビーズ）の周りに飾りとなるビーズ（丸小ビーズや竹ビーズなど）を螺旋（スパイラル）状に巻き付けるように編んでいくステッチです。
軸の周りにビーズを編むごとに、一段づつ軸ビーズの数を増やしていきますので、周りの飾りビーズが一段づつ右上がり（又は左上り）となり、階段のように綺麗なスパイラルが形成されていくのが特徴です。
今回は、軸となる丸大ビーズに、６mm竹ビーズ（二分竹ビーズ）を組み合わせてみました。竹ビーズの上下に丸小を一つずつあしらうことで、接続部がよりなめらかになり、色の組み合わせも楽しむことができます。

In this video we are going to make a beautiful necklace using spiral rope technique.
In the spiral rope technique you build a core (often with 8/0 beads) and sew around the core (often with 11/0 beads, bugle beads etc). By adding the core beads one by one, each time after sewing/embellishing around the core, it shapes a beautiful spiral form.
This time I used pale green 8/0 sed beads as core beads, 6mm bugle beads and 11/0 seed beads as the spiral decoration around the core.
