Great intro to the beautiful new West German models. I was stationed in Europe in the sixties, and we were always expecting the Warsaw Pact nations to come across. It will be fun to see these forces going at it on a table.
The germans always had a good eye for the aesthetics when it comes to tank design: The Panther, Tiger and Leopard all look lovely. I have such a love/hate relationship with this channel: It got me into Bolt Action and Flames of War and got me spending way too much money on new plastic! Keep up the good work :)
The Leopard 2 is an awesome machine and it was great to see it at Tankfest, I'm hoping for Team Yankee in future they add some more Warsaw Pact forces.
Absolutely loving these West German units. I really like that the boxsets/platoons are officially named 'ZUG' it really adds the German character to the units rather than just being called platoon. I also like how the West Germans cost a lot, points wise, for not a lot of models this accurately reflects the West German army for the time as they are short of numbers, being quite literally half a country, but still have that high quality German engineering flare. Loving team Yankee: Leopard! :)
Man, Team yankee was the first novel for "grown ups" i read in english back in 1990. i am so stoked for this.. but noone seems to play war-games in Oslo :(
Very glad to see that it isnt stopping on US and USSR only but expanding, really hope that it expands to include the French at some point in the future!
having bought fow stuff before and making a late war tank army for ww2 Americans and donating it to my little sons interest in ww2 I now feel that this option of fow is for me, not the children, ww3, its so close in real world, it makes sense that getting a force of stuff that could well melt my face with bombs in real life would be a good move. also regardless of gaming I think the models are great and the whole building armies/decks thing is far more fun to me than actually playing the games, mainly because I'm a parent who works and has almost no time to game anymore :)

Any chance of an update vid for the Russians and Americans? There's a load of units shown for West Germans here that we never saw the equivalent for in the last Team Yankee week.
I'm very excited with all these releases. And the kits are outstanding. I wonder what might come out in second wave? BTRs for Soviets, Bradleys for the US? It's an exciting time.

Why dose this stuff make me want another command and conquer game. Please guys after you have created Team Yankee could you begin creating a Command and Conquer miniatures game (only problem would be deciding between going with Red Alert, Tiberium Wars or Generals) (however it would be good to get all three)

This has finally sold me on the Team Yankee game, will be purchasing my first set once the Germans hit store shelves.
Still can't decide whether i like the Gepard or Tunguska more. Both lovely vehicles.

hmm, I kinda prefer the smoke launchers on the T-72 models over the Leos' even though they are a PITA to work with
