At first I misread the trade & thought we gave Harris & a 2nd for Laine & I was actually still happy😅We have so many LD even if Laine don’t work Harris for a 2nd ain’t bad
@@sergachev_9853 plus jets literally were 3rd in the league and remember laine hat trick comebacks against leafs watch that then come back and tell me that was medocre rivalry
On Demidov, I’d definitely say he’s more of a playmaker than a sniper and could definitely see him and laine making a great duo with Demidov setting him up
Very happy as a Habs fan. If he can stay healthy I think a change of scenery will benifit Laine. Especially in a big hockey market playing with other exciting young players. I feel like that will be a great fit for him. He has a lot of potential to go back to a 30-40G scorer
yes harris is a solid defencemen but montreals defensive depth coming up within the coming years it only makes sense to move one of the young guys to give the other ones more consistent time unlike what they did last year with a few guys, that being said the return is absolutely massive if laine can get back to his old form and with how hes talking on him feeling better and ready to go i can fully see it with a fresh start with montreal.
I'm not saying Columbus won the trade by any means, but I would argue that even though you can find plenty of players like Harris in free agency at that price point, I don't think Columbus would be any of those players' first choice destinations. I didn't like seeing the 2026 2nd Round Pick in addition, but this trade definitely gave Columbus some cap flexibility to acquire bad contracts in the next few tanking years. Plus, getting rid of a player that doesn't want to be there does wonders for a locker room. You don't always encounter situations like the Boston Bruins that were able to perform impressively with DeBrusk's trade requests out looming over the team. Once DeBrusk hit free agency, he moved on and had nothing but positive things to say about the locker room.
Yeah ! Of course Montréal won the Laine-Harris trade. They get rid of a guy they would had lost on a waiver for a former 40 goals scorers who 26 not 36 and 2nd round pick. Jordan Harris for a 2026 2nd round pick is a win for Montréal. WE got Laine for nothing. For a CBJ perspective it's a pure salary dump.
Bruh, what is this comment. My cat watched this video with me and now thinks she can be a star too. It's time for her to audition💞 💀💀 Like shut up, ik it’s a bot but like bro.
Hope you guys enjoyed the video! Who do YOU think won the trade??
KH IS A MASTERMIND

Same bro same!
if laine stays healthy and plays out his career with montreal this could be looked back on as a insane steal
If my aunt had balls she’d be my uncle
He’s leaving at the end of his deal. Let’s not be naive
Along with another insane puck in his own net 💀
@@Madbro204not necessarily he hasn’t even played a game on the team yet he could be happy he already said he was excited to play in Montreal so

Never though we’d see laine on matthews rival team😂

You should add a season sim to see how the players would do on each team

Laine used to be my fav jets player but now I’m a Canucks fan. Me and laine also share the same birthday but he’s older than me
As a flames fan Im excited to see Gaudreau and Monahan play together again. Also cant wait for your Flames franchise mode season 9
monahan signed in columbus?
Gaudreau won't be playing unfortunatly, RIP Johnny.
habs have so many young players its hard to really imagine what the lineup is going to look like in 2 seasons...
harris was a great dman to be honest underrated guy… don’t gaf tho.. if laine can get back to ppg this is such a steal.
Can you cover the Blues offer sheets if they go through tomorrow? See what the Oilers and Blues looks like afterwards. Could be an interesting video
I second this!
Have you seen the NHL 25 Trailer TacTix ?

Kent Hughes is COOKING 🐐
if Laine and Dach can both stay healthy, habs are looking scary
Love how the game's reaction is basically: "Are you nuts?"
What number will Laine wear this season, since 29 was Dryden number?
Kent hughes doing magic work 😅
Sim the season and see how many goals Laine ends up with please

I thoguht it was laine for a second and Harris not laine and a second for Harris what a fleece wow
Hold up there are 78 overall players with x factors on defense?
In the Montreal lineup where are Roy?
Laine-Dach-Newhook
Nah laine - Suzuki - Slav
The reason why Columbus added a second is because Montreal didn’t retain any salary for laine.
I think montreal will keep him for the second line... Caufield,Suzuki,Slafkosvky,Demidov, Laine and Dach would be a very solid top 6
hey tactix what rosters are you using?
Vasy's latest roster with some minor updates
dont forget laine will reunite with armia from their winnipeg days, and i agree with ya montreal won the trade
Playing NHL 99 i see
Kent Hughes fleece
The minute I see him in uniform I hope my kids won't be around and watch me with tears in my eyes, we waited for this moment for so long.
Great trade for Montreal, but dont ever forget...... Lewis Hamilton was robbed in 2021.
Severson is pronounced see-ver-son
Go habs go
26y
CBJ is going to be absolutely terrible this year
Laine contract is horrible but still young and a good player I think one for one is good
Should’ve just kept him. Just cuz you request a trade doesn’t mean you get one. What an awful trade
