      Two things!
      1) It has now been finished, and you'll hear it in its entirety on the new Elite album! We're working on it now, and it'll be out sometime next year!
      2) No pressure, but next week I'll be releasing the Jam Bundle for the section of the song you've heard, over on my Patreon. Guitar tabs, additional video and learning resources, and backing tracks. Just $10, or free for my Patreon members. Feel free to take a quick peak at some of the Jam Bundles I've already released! www.patreon.com/robarnoldworld/shop

    Great content. This is very easy for a beginner to learn... Although im hoping the trend of Midi bass eventually goes to the wayside... If you're talented enough to write the riffs, Midi bass is uninspired laziness and compliments the arrangement less.. I grew up listening to Rush and Maiden... Midi bass is no where on my radar :)

    • @RobArnoldWorld
      @RobArnoldWorld  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Indeed! And that's why I first suggested playing the bass. But ultimately, I'm just trying to help people get started!

    Hey Rob, huge huge fan and love the channel and Chimaira. I see you are playing the same riff in two different ways. The first bar (0:12 to 0:16) you are sliding power chords around then the second bar (0:21 to 0:26) you are playing the same riff by doing a stretchy thing with the fingers. I'm learning and also mostly play in drop C (I'm assuming this song is drop c). Would you mind explaining what you did there to get the same notes using different fingering? No theory needed, just high level. 🙏🤘

    • @RobArnoldWorld
      @RobArnoldWorld  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Cheers dude! I'm just harmonizing the riff I played right before the fingering changed. (the same prior riff is still happening underneath the harmony). I don't exactly know what chords I'm harmonizing with, but some parts of it are just octaves. If you're interested, stay tuned as I'll be releasing the tab for this on my Patreon, and I'm working on the full Jam Bundle for it as well, which will feature the tab, full backing tracks, and more up close video. It'll be $10 like all my other Jam Bundles, and free for members of my Patreon Community. 🎸

    Hey Rob great video , off topic but I know you have used Floyd rose type style bridges for a long time. I have an Ibanez Jem 77v blue floral I used to have it in drop c but when I switched to standard it will not stay in tune . I had it set up by a local guitar tech but to be honest I’m not sure if it his fault or not. The neck looks good action looks good strings are good springs seem fine but will not stay in tune. Just thought I would ask to see if maybe you have ever come across anything like this. Hope you have an awesome day.

    • @RobArnoldWorld
      @RobArnoldWorld  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Man, sometimes a guitar just acts like a bitch.
      After what you described, the only thing that comes to mind is a fresh set of strings. Perhaps a different brand. I suggest giving that a try, as simple as it sounds, and then see what happens. Good luck!
