You're the GOAT bro. This channel is so awesome. Ever since I saw Chimaira on Farmclub back in the day easily one of my favourite metal bands of all time.
Rob, u need to finish that song. Those are some sick riffs. I love the riff after the intro. I guess the verse it would be. I'm gonna have to learn it now!
Two things! 1) It has now been finished, and you'll hear it in its entirety on the new Elite album! We're working on it now, and it'll be out sometime next year! 2) No pressure, but next week I'll be releasing the Jam Bundle for the section of the song you've heard, over on my Patreon. Guitar tabs, additional video and learning resources, and backing tracks. Just $10, or free for my Patreon members. Feel free to take a quick peak at some of the Jam Bundles I've already released! www.patreon.com/robarnoldworld/shop
Been messing around with Stl tones for a few months now, yesterday i unlocked figuring to track 2 seperate tracks with slightly similar amps and it sounds so much fuller! Making progress 🤙🏻
I love the Krimh Drums so much! Thanks to you and your promo code, since that last review you did on those, I got them and I couldn't be more satisfied. Love the song, it's a ripper!
More vids like this, so helpful dude, sometimes as a guitar player, all this recording DAW stuff can be a learning curve and overwhelming, it’s great to see a TH-camr not just gear focused and teaching us how to make music, would love to see vids on your song writing process too , thx man 🤟

Great content. This is very easy for a beginner to learn... Although im hoping the trend of Midi bass eventually goes to the wayside... If you're talented enough to write the riffs, Midi bass is uninspired laziness and compliments the arrangement less.. I grew up listening to Rush and Maiden... Midi bass is no where on my radar :)
Hey Rob, huge huge fan and love the channel and Chimaira. I see you are playing the same riff in two different ways. The first bar (0:12 to 0:16) you are sliding power chords around then the second bar (0:21 to 0:26) you are playing the same riff by doing a stretchy thing with the fingers. I'm learning and also mostly play in drop C (I'm assuming this song is drop c). Would you mind explaining what you did there to get the same notes using different fingering? No theory needed, just high level. 🙏🤘
Cheers dude! I'm just harmonizing the riff I played right before the fingering changed. (the same prior riff is still happening underneath the harmony). I don't exactly know what chords I'm harmonizing with, but some parts of it are just octaves. If you're interested, stay tuned as I'll be releasing the tab for this on my Patreon, and I'm working on the full Jam Bundle for it as well, which will feature the tab, full backing tracks, and more up close video. It'll be $10 like all my other Jam Bundles, and free for members of my Patreon Community. 🎸
Hey Rob great video , off topic but I know you have used Floyd rose type style bridges for a long time. I have an Ibanez Jem 77v blue floral I used to have it in drop c but when I switched to standard it will not stay in tune . I had it set up by a local guitar tech but to be honest I’m not sure if it his fault or not. The neck looks good action looks good strings are good springs seem fine but will not stay in tune. Just thought I would ask to see if maybe you have ever come across anything like this. Hope you have an awesome day.
Man, sometimes a guitar just acts like a bitch. After what you described, the only thing that comes to mind is a fresh set of strings. Perhaps a different brand. I suggest giving that a try, as simple as it sounds, and then see what happens. Good luck!
Question: Have you ever started writing an album or EP and didn't like it. Started another project didn't like it but went back to the first project and liked the songs 😂?

Appreciate all these instructional videos Rob. Very helpful.
Rob continuing to be the sage for all of us at home shredders and jammers. Can’t wait to try this out!
👊
I like the click track in back. I was having trouble just having a backing drum to record to but then when I listen back I was a step behind the beat
Any comment pales in comparison to how awesome that music and education all in one video provides. Respect! Listen, learn and yo that rocked.

That guitar is killer and your sound on this video is filthy sick. Good advice for songwriting.
Thanks dude!👊
Fantastic tutorial. Thank you so much for using our plugins, Rob. You rock! 🤘
Hey thanks guys! It's my pleasure! It would be an honor to have Jens mix one of my albums someday! 🤘

You can put a third track in the middle at a lower volume too
I love the Krimh Drums so much! Thanks to you and your promo code, since that last review you did on those, I got them and I couldn't be more satisfied.
Love the song, it's a ripper!
Awesome!
This is awesome dude! Thank you so much for all the sharing. I'm always encouraged and invigorated watching your stuff.

Best metal music production channel on TH-cam! Thank you so much Rob! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
👊
Wow! Thank you so much Rob, I’ve been struggling trying to figure how to do all this on my own. Kick ass!!!
Best of luck!
Very clear and easy to understand instructions.
I think you’ve found your forte, Rob (strictly speaking TH-cam).
👊
Had to jam some Chimaira while I was in Cleveland for work this week. I love your channel dawg, keep up the great work! 🤘
Nice!👊
this is such a good tutorial. youre the reason i picked up a guitar in the first place back when i was a kid, so cool to be learning from you now 💪🔥
Awesome! 👊
awesome video, easy to understand for any budding musician! 🤘
🤘
Cheers Rob. Saving up for a scarlet 2i2 audio interface and have saved these videos to dive Into later. \m/
Awesome!
Excellent video!
Glad you dug it!
That sounded AWESOME!!!
Hello Rob
Legend, years of experience condensed into under 10 minutes. This would’ve taken me days to research each step!
👊
🤘😈🤘🔥🔥🔥
That riff was hotter than anything Metallica was coming up with over the last 20 years!
🤘🏻💀
Dude!! Sick fucking riffage! Those would work and fit so well in this song i am about to start writing! 😂 lol
Thanks dude! It has now been finished, and you'll hear it in its entirety on the new Elite album! We're working on it now, and it'll be out sometime next year!

Indeed! And that's why I first suggested playing the bass. But ultimately, I'm just trying to help people get started!
@@RobArnoldWorld Absolutely sir... I aint railing against you my friend... im speaking in very broad terms...

@@RobArnoldWorld Look at me getting guitar playing advice from Rob Arnold. :) Oh I see. Thank you that helps a lot, I'll have a look! Thanks Rob.

Hey Rob, sorry for asking here, but is it interesting for you to test the Dimehead NAM Player?
I've actually never heard of it!
@@RobArnoldWorld Thanks for your answer. Maybe it could be an interesting toy :)
The same thing but for guitar vids would be very handy
I'm not sure what you mean!
@@RobArnoldWorld as in a similar ‘get started’ approach to doing what your doing. Recording guitar, video, syncing it up etc etc
@@alexdoyleguitar I'll consider it! No one's ever asked for that type of stuff before, so I'll have to think about it. Stay tuned!

Probably!
Hahahaha)))) Jackson's freatboard without shark thin inlays??? really???? what a cr**p
Budget is key. You can demo on a small workstation. Some have a cd burner. Others you can upload to laptop too.
