EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING! Especially the intro, for some reason the sound brings back memories of when I was about 3-5. How I vision the memory that I was in a car with my family, feeling sleepy, warm and cozy while songs that have similar synth sounds are playing in the background. (might sound weird but it sends a warm feeling whenever I think about those moments) Probably the reason why it sounds nostalgic is because of the synthesisers they used and it being popular and used in songs during times when we were young.
The concept of the song is about Chasing your dream. Well it was show us at the end of the song. I don't know why so many people don't know the song meaning
This is just my opinion, i got the idea from two other ideas on this song. Maybe aria is a AI looking for her master in a world without sound. She finds out about spica. (Spica is a older version of aria and found her master and fell in love with him. He rejected her.) And searches for her.
I been searching for this for so long because i forgot the title.. 😭😭😭😭😭. It is one of the vocaloid songs that hits me straight in the kokoro along with SPica 😭💕💕💕💕 glad i found it. My fave song way back 2012(2013?)
I want to cry. U remember this was the first song I've ever heard by miku or any vocaloid and I remember just me failing at singing this but now it's no problem
I noticed when she "activated" ARiA the sun rose as well, maybe it was just the timing, but what if everything on her planet is controlled by technology--extremely advanced is my point. She also mentioned that every time she sighed the moon spun, which makes me think the technology affected the people on her planet somehow, and maybe she's the control center? That's why she was able to survive, but now without anyone she obtained her own conscious perhaps, and grew lonely?
1st: According to the Vocaloid wikipedia, the song is about a girl who wants to go into space and find a star that she saw when she was little; she eventually gets up into space, but sadly, because the universe is so vast, she never makes it and vanishes somewhere. 2nd: For people trying to still save Miku, it turned out that Google accidentally thought Miku was copyright, but Crypton Media set them straight :)
ARiA- A girl named Aria had an obsession with a star from her childhood and is trying to be with the star/be a star. SPiCa- Miku is the ever-watching star, caring for all of us. In the middle of the song, there was a verse that sounded like a letter to Aria. Aria is trying to use technology to become a star. In the end she evaporates into little hologram bits. In the middle there was a "Gate." What was the gate truly for? Is she trying to become a vocaloid/the beginnings of Miku? If she is the beginning of Miku, is Miku a time traveler, where she traveled back in time to before she was born, then Aria heard Miku's music, and decided to become a musician, then named her pen name Hatsune Miku? Whatever it was, did the gate either turn her into an electronic AI or bring her back in time to the present where we live from the future? HOOLY SHIT
Extra proof: Miku's age on the Vocaloid Wiki OF THIS YEAR is 16. Whether she never ages now because robot, we don't know, but she's been out there for 7 years. 16-7=9. ARiA looks about 9 to me.
She's not in any anime technically, Hatsune Miku that's her name. She's a voice synthesizer sorta... Basically people use her to make songs, like this one for example, sometimes she guest stars in animes, but briefly, she's one of the many Vocaloid, and probably the most popular one at that. If you wanna know more just go to the Vocaloid Wiki of course :P
It's such a sweet song. This song is one of a lullaby you could hum along and feel connected. A song you can feel part of. A song you can sleep peacefully with by the notion of the sweet melody is flows with. This song inspired me greatly and still does. And as it ends, it makes you feel like you have to always hear it again and again.
certified classic frfr. i wonder why they don't perform classics like this anymore on live concerts like magical mirai or sumn. would rather listen to this all day than to listen to a bunch of earsores they usually perform nowdays.
That's the actual story (I looked it up :3), although I think she didn't know that she was aiming for Earth; I'm almost positive she thought it was a star that she has always seen, so she wanted to find it.
0:12 What does ARiA stand for? I can read the last two words "Reactive Integral Attribute" but the first word, I can't really read. "Astro-something?" BTW, love the song!!! One of my many favs!! °w°
I think this song is about a girl who was told stories about people flying through magic, and as she grew older she had dreams of herself flying through the skys to go meet the stars she sees. The dreams were very vague (hint, they describe the dreams "muddy") though so she doesn't understand them, but she gathers hints of flying and she finally pushes herself to meet the stars and breaks whatever barrier was preventing herself from flying. idk, just my way of seeing this song :P
I'm pretty sure I discovered this song around the time it came out and it's still a favorite. Half the reason is cuz I've been upgrading my audio setup over the years and seem to gain a new appreciation for this every time it's upgraded. It really holds up well. Of course the other half is this song is so good lol.
This song made me cry. And I apologize for having no amazing insigh on this song like the rest of you do. ^^ I just find it very.... Amazing.. That's all msot vocaloid songs are though. just simply AMAZING!
I agree ^^ I wanted (and think I might) write a fanfiction. Aria was her friend who sacrificed themselves to get Miku to the lonely planted when Earth was abolished and all the people were dead. She built a computer/system and called it ARiA and had it replicate the persons feelings? Then when she thinks she knows how to make Aria become alive again, she uses the systems last strengths to reach where she needed to go - but the system broke and she died. TT^TT
I surely want ARiA module and song in Project Diva. It will be good addition to collection of songs, and, also, it wil be really hard on Extreme, because of pretty fast rhytm.
@Krystalblader101 The blue haired girl is an Original character created by the MV maker. Although the character does have a degre of resemble with Hatsune Miku (The vocaloid singer of this song), the girl itself is actually the title character of this song: "ARiA". If you're asking about how the girl relates to the story, my guess would be that she's an (Prob forgotten) Virtual AI from some Space Colony and wish to be reunited to her master coz she love him (In the song refered as "him").
After observing the community for a while after the incident back in February, I am appalled to find that somehow people are STILL talking about this. I have absolutely no idea why, and it’s also nothing short of disappointing.
Just a minor tick while looking at the kana of this song is that a lot of the time when the romanji says "o", the kana above it reads "wo" and Miku says "wo". I guess it must be shorthand for them...
i feel like vocaloid has a lot of sides. most people just see the cutesy anime-ish side (like world is mine or melt, not that i dont love those songs), but they forget about this side. its beautiful and meaningful, and completely different from what most people view vocaloid. people should look at it more like this.
@nunnythebunny Of course. Anyone can create a Vocaloid song, whether they want a deep song or a simple song. Songs are created by third-person artists, or anyone who wants to buy the software and release it onto TH-cam or iTunes.
Ah this song
I remember discovering this years ago
This song is what got me into Vocaloid
You had this amazing beast.
I had Link Sync World which was absolutely shit compared to this.
META_mahn
I just checked it out
It's not so bad for an original work
META_mahn you're just not well suited with trance.

This PV is beautiful ;w; I wish I could make artwork like that
13 Years Ago.
That's the actual story (I looked it up :3), although I think she didn't know that she was aiming for Earth; I'm almost positive she thought it was a star that she has always seen, so she wanted to find it.
I was touch by this song... Thank you...
